Video Games - a general discussion thread

God I miss g4/techtv (except the last year or so before it stopped being about games and tech) and especially xplay. I semi regularly watch old eps of xplay on YouTube for the nostalgia. Even if those games are long gone it’s still an entertaining show with good humor. That network was my teenage lament man. There are hundreds of YouTube videos with the programs with the bumps intact. I love it. I miss it. Kevin pereras hack my life show that he moved on too (I know there was stuff in between g4 and this but I didn’t see it) is entertaining too but I miss g4. I wish Adam Sessler and Morgan Webb were still on TV.

But if I remember Cloverfield was one of the first five or so movies to do that so it wasn’t ridiculous yet. Maybe it wasn’t the first five but it was a new enough trend that it was the first film I saw done that way. In theaters no less. I was pretty young but I remember enjoying it haven’t seen it since. Maybe I should

You have my sympathy.

I’d rather talk to a 21 year-old who uses profanity and occasionally talks about drug use than talk to someone like you (who I doubt is much older) who thinks they’re better than everyone.

I did not ask for your opinion on this matter, but thanks for sharing.

No one asks for your opinion on anything, yet you keep giving it.

Wanted to make this exact post, nearly word for word.

I love the moment in Volume 1 where The Bride finds out she has been in a coma for four years, and the bit in Volume 2 when Bill recites his speech on Superman.

Ah yes, Duracell’s strange views on Superman emerge once more.

Because characterizing Superman as some aloof alien god who views humanity as a race of clumsy, awkward buffoons is just so normal.

[JEDIT]

Well, maybe it was in the Silver Age. But I dislike those comics for a reason.

I think he meant how seriously you take Superman.

E.g. this post.
