I’ve got vinyls from 2010+ (some of modern albums…) and they still sound better than their CD counterparts. Them being mastered more carefully may be part of that, but every single person I’ve showed has been blown away by how much better they sound.

So I take it you think Attack Of The Clones has better image quality than Empire Strikes Back then? After all, AOTC was shot digitally so is obviously superior than the old timely analog of ESB.

It may not be that vinyl is inherently better, but things are nearly always mastered better for vinyl and that’s just a fact. Try anything that’s percussive and compare the CD version and the vinyl version and see which hits harder. It also has more detail in the sound. You may not be able to capture it on paper but your ears can.

Is there any update on the audio bug you mentioned in the TFA thread? No pressure as I never actually noticed it but I’m curious as to how you’d fix something like that.

You should give Insomnium a go. They are much more straightforward melodeath but they are very melodic and often have acoustic/clean sections and they just write wonderful music.

I must admit that I enjoy Inuyasha, and have been privately working on a benefit to combine the 167 extremely filler laced and lots of stupid moment filled episodes into a much shorter series of ‘movies’ that focus on the plot about naraku and the jewel shards and only keep the humor that works.

Will anybody care? Probably not.
