So what exactly is the point of the Mega Man Legacy collection? When 12 years ago they did the same thing for PS2/GC/Xbox… except with better and more extras as well. And it not only had 1-6, but had 7-8 as well as some arcade games. And for 1-6 there was even (optional) remixed music. So I don’t know why they expect me to pay 50 bucks for less instead of spending about 7 bucks (if I didn’t already have it but I saw it for that at a local game shop lately) on the Anniversary Collection and get way more. I mean it’s NES, SNES, and PS1 games… it’s not like they’re going to be better on a PS4 than they were on the PS2…

I never hit my head though and the ringing had stopped by the next morning. Plus I’ve slept a whole bunch of times since then. I’m not really in any pain any more.

Thanks warb. Physically I seem to be okay. But overall I’m having a real hard time right now. I’m off work for the next week for obvious reasons, but sitting at home alone hasn’t been too great for me. I’ve walked around the neighborhood a bit which helps but I don’t have a car until the insurance check comes so I can’t really go do anything. I’m getting really depressed sitting at home by myself. I’m working on my music but it’s not helping much. I’ve nothing to do but sit around thinking about things I’ve avoided thinking about for a long time and this is the first empty time I’ve had in years and it’s hard. I should be grateful that after this wreck I’m not seriously hurt, and I am, but I’m just really depressed right now. Thinking about the past. Right now I’m recording a song that has a whole lot of meaning to me and powerful nostalgia from my high school years. I’m hoping getting a recording of it might give some release.

I feel bad whining so much when what happened to me isn’t nearly what happened to you. I’m sorry Warbler. I hope things get easier for you.

I definitely prefer the theatrical for all the reasons listed. I appreciate the escapism of the extended versions, but like the OP says the theatricals hold your attention and convey the tension better. I seem to recall reading Peter Jackson prefers the theatrical too, not that that means anything about whether or not you should too.

Not something from the new album, this one is actually newer than that.
I recorded this last night after my accident. When I recorded it I was definitely in a funk, my body and mind were sore and tired. Is it the best thing I’ve ever recorded? Of course not. But the fact that I still have the power to produce and play something like this right after a head-on collision is amazing and I’m very grateful for that. And when I hear the power and strength behind the opening guitar riffs, remembering that that was me just hours after a head-on collision, it honestly fills me with alot of pride.
Although, needless to say, I did record this one sitting down. 😃

In case anybody didn’t see my post in another thread last night I was in a head on collision at about 30 mph. Other drivers fault. Amazingly both drivers escaped without serious injury but I am a little banged up. Feel abit out of sorts understandably. and the only car I’ve ever owned is totalled. It was in perfect condition but it isn’t worth more than 3 or 4 thousand because of it’s age. So now I’m stuck without a car until her insurance pays up And when they do whatever I get will feel like a downgrade.

My ears had quit ringing when I woke up this morning. So that’s good.

I assume I’m fine anyway. Lol. I didn’t go to a hospital or get checked out or anything. My hands are bruised and cut up cuz the airbag hit them as it came out. Chest and stomach bruised and slightly sore but not bad. Most burdensome at this point is my ears have been ringing ever since impact, but its slowly but steadily getting quieter. I didn’t hit my head on anything so no worries of concussion. Will probably feel worse tomorrow.

It was completely the other drivers fault so I’ll be getting a New car out of it. Unfortunately it was an 03 Pontiac grand am. It was in excellent condition and ran perfectly, but monetarily it wasn’t worth as much as it was practically worth to me so whatever new car I get probably won’t be as good. Loved that car was in perfect condition. Recently made a 1500 mile trip that cost less than $100 USD in it in gas.

Cool. I’ll probably send you replacement discs for the first 3 albums too because I have now upgraded to printing the disc art straight onto the disc instead of the tacky pressed on labels I was doing at the time when I sent you the other albums. Content wise they will be identical so you can just put them in the old cases but those labelled on Cds won’t last forever cuz over time they will start to peel off which is not only lame and tacky but will cause them to skip and eventually not read. The printed on ones are much more reliable and will last a very long time.
