I don’t necessarily see that as a problem. Builds suspense, and an understanding of the force isn’t necessary to enjoy star wars anyway. The prequels are loaded with problems, I don’t think this is one of them.

+1. Moviefreakmind has made some good points which is that it should be okay to criticize certain parts of a culture. The treatment of women in Islam is an example of this. Cultures are fantastic and interesting to learn about and being willing to learn new things from these cultures is what I find is most important.

Maybe not in the specific case of you adopted Chinese niece who I’m sure is an absolutely delightful child (though there are problematic aspects of Chinese culture that have already been adequately pointed out in this thread, which have no relation to the loveliness of your niece.) But at least in the case of Islam the government is simply enforcing the culture (religious ideals) as law.

No lol just the two, the other one is long gone though. this one hasn’t really caused me any trouble except this one time and it was mainly due to mixing alcohol with her medication.

Well this is the first time it’s ever really caused problems. It’s not like we’re having sex, and even if we did other than those two nights out of three years she’s been an absolutely amazing friend and I’m not going to throw the relationship away just because she’s 40. While there may be some level of sexual attraction between us, she’s really more of a big sister. (As creepy as it is to say those two things back to back like that, but we’re not related)
Well I obviously don’t know the whole picture so I’m not trying to suggest you do anything beyond consider the worth of the relationship. It seems like in many ways it’s been a cause of stress and depression for you, before this incident even. If you think the benefits out weigh the costs then that’s perfectly okay but you need to ask yourself the question.

Oh. Is that the version on Netflix? I never noticed. I mean I’m 23 so other than when I was real little watching the hd versions on Netflix a few years ago was probably the first I’ve seen it but with as much of an audiophile as I am Im surprised I didn’t notice the orchestra part suddenly being a modern recording.
