Actually I’m not sure about that. The title for Harmys despecialized episode iv now indicates that it is up to v 2.7 and I’m almost certain that came out well after the update, and the separate towne32 thread has been abandoned.

Being stuck in 2k hasn’t stopped all these other movies from getting released in 4k. There’s even been at least one movie that was shot in 1080p like AotC/RotS released on 4k (Resident Evil: Afterlife).

They could upscale the live action and re render the cgi and it would probably look pretty good since they’re mostly cgi anyway.
