Possessed Return of the Jedi-* Resurrected!!*
Time

Just curious if anybody would be interested in making subtitles for this edit once I’m done? I don’t mean the alien subtitles as I will be burning those in as best as I can how they were theatrically, I mean just regular subtitles. For some reason I can’t get the editor I’m using to keep them in sync with the stream as I’m editing. I’m way too lazy to do something that tedious, so I was just wondering if somebody would be interested in helping out. If not, then it will just have to go without.

Finally tried Star Fox Zero for the Wii U. God was I disappointed. Only because of the controls. Had they just allowed the player to use the pro controller and play it like a typical starfox game I would have enjoyed it. It was pretty fun at first, but all the shoehorned in gamepad elements killed it for me. They could have kept that and allowed use of the pro controller with a scheme set up similar to Assault for the gamecube and I would have been on board. I may try it again at some point.

Maybe Starfox could’ve had the WiiU gamepad used for secondary functions. Use the gamepad’s screen for a 2nd player, like a co-pilot. Then everyone can be like Chewie. Sort of like how New Super Mario Bros Wii U uses the gamepad for creating boxes & killing enemies on the screen.

Yes, which is sort of a reverse of what they did. I don’t even mind the fact that the gamepad mode exists, I just wish there was the option to play it the old fashioned way.

I love StarFox Assault for the Gamecube. This new game with that control scheme (and with the same cast of voice actors too…) would have been fantastic.

ISIS and the Taliban did destroy cultural artifacts when they were in power. Remember that Buddha in Afghanistan that was blown up? Or the countless Mesopotamian artifacts that have been destroyed in the last three years alone?

My comment about cultural destruction isn’t exactly far-fetched then.

You make me embarrassed to like star wars. Equating ISIS and lucasfilm? Fuck you you miserable piece of shit.

I like these edits though if I can nitpick. I would have loved it if all the 90’s cgi that he’s keeping in these edits would have been updated to modern standards. Cgi has come a long since then that’s why with today’s cgi it would be awesome.

I think most people agree that it looks pretty dated. Updating it all to today’s Hollywood standards would be an extremely expensive endeavor (thousands or millions of dollars).

Most of the CGI in the battle of yavin, for example, can be replaced with models for a more realistic look.

Like, the original?

Oops, missed townes comment

Harmy's STAR WARS Despecialized Edition HD - V2.7 - MKV (Released)

No, seriously, I’ve got to admit I was playing a bit of a waiting game - I was half expecting them to announce an official release at celebration, so I thought I’d wait and see. And now, not only have they not announced anything at celebration, Kennedy actually specifically said they had no plans to release the originals.

No she didn’t, what she said was she has no plans to further alter the SE. Still doesn’t look good though.

I don’t know. I’d honestly still buy it, if nothing else just to make my own “semi-specialized” (to steal the name from KK650) version with it. I mean it would suck, but it would give Harmy better material to work with, and we’d all have to buy it to be able to morally download anything harmy or anybody else makes with it. Kind of a catch 22. Do you boycott lucasfilm and rob yourself of a potentially better despecialized (if harmy is so inclined to even make another one with a better source), or do you support them so that you can have a better despecialized?
