So since I have no idea what the fuck is going on, I’m gonna go out on a limb and say the list of victims came out and there’s nobody matching what he’s said about his daughter? I’m not really seeing any posts that explain this sudden change of tune and I didn’t even know what alderaan was talking about at first.
I’m not using dolby as a starting point, I’m using the matter dts track and only encoding to dolby at the end.
I’m not a fool when it comes to audio. On your a new hope edit (which was visually very nice btw) in order to watch it I even had to replace all of your audio because for some reason with your high end setup you still decided to stick with the 2011 sound mix and it sounds horrible. =P (Because of the mix not because of you)

I’m aware that pcm is lossless but 5.1 pcm is huge overkill. 640 kbps ac3 is enough for a movie I think. Music is the only time lossless matters to me.

Other than the mistake of the missing cue in epiv, what are you talking about? There are a few changes to the score in ESB, but one was to fix a jump cut that wasn’t williams doing anyway, and the other was to restore a scene to how williams originally scored it.
Does anybody know of a good place for me to share my stuff to get a little more attention? I know it’s kind of a niche audience that would like it, but I don’t even really know where to start. If the responses I got were negative I would understand, but everybody that I can get to listen to my music always ends up liking it. Sure people have specific criticisms, but I’ve NEVER had someone whose overall opinion of it wasn’t positive. So it just seems like I put a terrible amount of work into this and it doesn’t reach a very big audience at all. I could try youtube, but I don’t know how I would brand it for something like that.

I like that as well. Lately I’ve taken to spicing up a sprite with 2 or 3 shots of seagrams lime gin on my lunch break to take the edge off.

Just posting to say this isn’t dead. Still working. Couldn’t get the hang of any editors, so I’m going back to womble. Accidentally discovered that the problem with the pops at cut points doesn’t happen if I work with elementary streams as opposed to an already muxed file. Sortof a bummer, because before I had all the different sound mixes (some with the center channel muted to use for transitions without dialogue) I wanted synced up and muxed together so that I could switch between audio mixes at any time with zero effort and it would already be in the correct place for sync in the timeline. I may see if I could still do this with a dummy video track and just use an elementary stream for the video and see if that will still fix it. If not I’ll just go all elementary and it will just be more of a pain.
I too had a spat with ender a couple years ago that was largely due to some childishness on my part. I don’t remember the details but I think it had something to do with some satanic picture I posted when I was going through a weird childish anti religious phase that I got over. I think I was on some weird drugs (beyond the weed and alcohol that I don’t go beyond anymore) at the time and I’m sure it was my fault. I don’t even hold anti spiritual or anti Christian beliefs anymore.

Luke’s scream in esb is the only one I can think of. The han and greedo scene was tweaked though.
