Yeah theres been versions of that poster used as art with at least lando (but probably the others too but lando is the one I definitely remember) since at least the early 90s VHS tapes.

It seems that’s a new rerelease yet to happen. If you go the listing you posted you can’t check out reviews for that edition because it isn’t out yet but you can pre-order it. Who knows

If I recall he kept forgetting his password and making socks to get around this, and then finally lost the password, again, to the final account he was allowed to have, and got himself a permaban making another sock to get around that. Iirc he’s only banned because he kept making socks cuz he couldn’t keep his password straight more than what he did on the forum.

Although to be fair, the official “live album” put out when he was still alive really sucks. Which truly blows my mind, how does one of THE best live acts in rock/blues history (no exaggeration. Check out some YouTube clips or one of the too-few posthumous live DVDs. (Why aren’t there more of those? There are tons of YouTube clips of obviously pro shot footage but recorded on a vhs tape from tv. Doesn’t Sony realize the financial goldmine they would get buying the original master from the TV station and releasing it in good quality? That already release another live album every year anyway cuz the guy was so good live) he was so good live it was stupid. Supposedly there were recording errors recording the shows that were to become the album so they ended up having to overdub most of it purely for sound quality reasons and as a result all the energy was gone, and due to the difficulty of trying to mimic the timing and spontaneous nature of the original performances (they were very loose live as far as being rehearsed and sticking to a set list or way to play a song… They played things different all the time unrehearsed because they just had such chemistry) it just came out messy. Plus recording their parts one by one in overdub form was foreign to them because they actually recorded their studio albums live-in studio, just with small overdubs to fix little errors and make it “album perfect”, and usually overdubbed singing just to get that extra soul you couldn’t get from playing the guitar and singing simultaneously (although he was amazing at that anyway)

Some cite him being at the height of his drug and alcohol addiction before going clean as the reason the album sucks but I don’t but that because bootleg recordings of him at the time period were still fantastic musically, although you could tell by looking and his talking between songs he wasn’t doing good.

I’m loving the entire ambience and atmosphere of twilight princess. It totally sucks you in.

It really speaks to how well made the Zelda games story and vibe is that it’s me and my dad’s go to bonding activity. He doesn’t even play video games other than sports games (at all.) But he loves to come over and just watch me play Zelda and give input on possible ways to solve puzzles and what I maybe should do next. To him it’s like an interactive movie, he loves the stories. (I typically have two Zelda games in the rotation at a time, because we are going through twilight princess right now and I only play it while he’s here so he doesn’t miss anything but I usually have another I’m working on so I don’t have to call my dad to get a Zelda fix). This twilight princess on the wiiu has been his favorite experience so far because, while he has no interest in actually playing, he can hold the gamepad and study the maps and such while I play on the pro controller so in a way he can actively participate without the pressure of controlling link.

Agreed Muppets beat cgi hands down

CGI is a tool, and like any other tool, it can be use poorly. But you should never blame the tool for the shortcomings of the craftsman.

That’s like saying ROTJ is an overall above average film but it has some flaws and rough patches but it also has some incredibly strong and powerful moments that make it worthwhile… Reasonable.

I enjoy edited prequels on a level that’s only about 2 or 3 points on an out of 10 less than the ot. The theatricals are terrible, but the problems for me weren’t the story or plot our character dynamics. It was just annoying moments from Anakin (and jarjar in tpm) and overall silly humor that would pop up. So while it’s true snipping things can’t improve the foundations, but it’s enough for me to at least enjoy them.

I said it was a song, I didn’t say it was just a song. Obviously it’s our national anthem and it means something. One of the things it represents is there freedom to protest. I know that’s what you were saying. And nobody is protesting the anthem. They just know that they will get attention for protesting during it. But it’s a very respectful protest. If they were making inflammatory gestures during would be one thing. Kneeling isn’t disrespect just because it’s custom to stand. They aren’t kneeling to mock the anthem or those who stand, they are kneeling to communicate that this great country has problems that need fixed.

But of course a concept that nuanced is fucking gibberish to warb. Maybe in his days off he’ll be able to consider this.
