Is it just me, or does he look a little like Bob Newhart?

Anyways, here is another idea after looking at the JEDI: WISHLIST:

  1. Have Chewie miss more obviously with his bowcaster (and possibly change the color to green to match the PT).

Maybe to show how different and powerful the bowcaster is compared to a regular laser pistol or rifle, the bowcaster could shoot spheres of energy (like proton torpedoes,, but smaller - audiowise, a new sound effect could be applied to emphazise it's more powerful nature, ie. something along the lines of when Vermithrax breathes in to prepare to breathe fire in DRAGONSLAYER - speed the sound up a little and alter it slightly, but still give it the sense that the bowcaster can build up energy like the R-TYPE gun) and show trees blowing up from the near misses, and its one of the near miss explosions that knock off the scout trooper from one of the speeder bikes.

Not to mention, if you show Chewie shooting so blatantly off his target, it would kinda make Chewie a clutz at aiming and shooting a gun... ie. stupid and silly, which is what I would think any good editor would want to remove from JEDI.

good ideas about Chewie's blaster and such.

One more bug for your consideration.

When the clones are executing the order 66 in the scene that the bike scout troopers recieving the transmission, notice the belt of the front trooper. the back box/clip does an awkward animation ;)

Commander Gree's belt boxes move when he kneels down to Yoda on Kashyyk too. if you watch AOTC in HD you'll notice that when Clones run or are sitting their thighs go right through their bulky belt boxes because it's just CG. when you don't design actual costumes for humans you get problems like that.

Tarkin was Wayne Pygram in a halloween mask :

Pygram Tarkin

other people were tested in better makeup, here is Christopher Eccleston (yes, that Christopher Eccleston):

Eccelston Tarkin

Uncanny as that looks (and why they didn't go with it is beyond me) they could have saved the effort by casting the greatest Doctor Who we've never had, Bill Nighy.

Not only would he not need the make-up, I'm sure he could do the voice as well.

Christopher Eccleston is definitely better there but i still have a problem with both of them looking nearly as gaunt and old as Tarkin is in ANH except only with brown hair. 20 years span between ROTS and ANH i mean come on...
