I don't know what they mean by that. Assuming they mean TorrentBox by TB, I tried searching the site and I don't think it's on there.

I think that TB is a reference to the one who did the transfer, not the source.

I haven't seen the AOTC disc, so I might be wrong, but usually bootleg camcorder transfers are pretty dismal quality. So I wouldn't get my expectations up too high.

As for sources, I agree with TheCassidy with the suggestion to go to Rikter and see what he might have.

That delayed it quite a while, but not the only, or even main reason for the small number of systems being released. Remember the XBox 360 ended up going to market without the HD-DVD drive. And there was still these shortages for them, and big lines. The PS2 and X-Box had the same thing happen, big lines at opening day. Even back to the release of systems like the N64, there were only a handful of systems shipped, big shortages, and long lines at the stores. This is simply how companies release systems nowadays. Shots of big lines make news. That is what Sony is after. They want to show how 'popular' and 'in-demand' the system is and get press and generate hype.

Could the 2006 DVDs become collector's items?
Time
Just because DVDs can be copied easly and cheaply doesn't mean that the originals will be worthless. People like originals and are willing to pay extra for it to be real. A cheap copy isn't collectable.
But I don't see these becoming collector's items. The stuff that becomes valuable is the things that are rare. This seems to be pretty common so far.

Ultimately, Microsoft and Sony both benifit from shortages and long lines. They gets lots of press about how 'popular' their system is and how many people are wanting it. Never mind that the lines and shortages are generated because the company intentionally made too few systems. Fortunately, it seems like from the XBox 360 release that the press has started getting wise to this tactic and has started to report that the company hasn't made enough instead of "they are so popular!".

Leia's Role in the Rebellion
Time
I don't know if the EU agrees or disagrees with me, but my reasoning is the following:
My guess for Solo is that he was given the rank of General for the operation of destroying the shield generator. He was the most qualified for the operation, so he was made general.
As for Leia, her father was one of the founders of the rebellion. She has been involved in it since she was a child, more than likely, and has done many things, not just a courier. So she is a very high ranking offical in the rebellion, and has done many things for them before ANH.

I know OCP included it in the extras to his Classic Edition: ROTJ but since the that is no longer being torrented I was hoping some one would be able to help me out.

Thanks.

I don't know if it is still being seeded, but over at myspleen there was a two DVD set that had all four of the classic documentaries in it.

Trivial Pursuit?
Time
I have trivial pursuit (forget which edition, but its an older one), the anniversary edition (20th, I think) and Star Wars with DVD. To answer the question about is the OT and PT intertwined, the answer is yes. I suppose if you really wanted to, you could play OT only by skipping any questions dealing with the PT, but that would be harder still with the DVD, because you may not know if the question deals with the OT until its over. (such as 'guess who's voice' type questions). The anniversary edition is really hard, and we never play it as a result, and usually end up playing the older one we have.

Advice on Name Changing
Time
Ultimately it is your choice, but keep in mind that changing your name might upset and hurt the feelings of your mother and step-father. It would be very easy for them to take it wrong. You might accidently open up some old wounds that might exist betwen your mother and father, and it doesn't sound like you have as close of a relationship with your father, need to be careful not to hurt your mother.
As for the difficulty to pronounce the name and going into the film industry,This might not be the best example, but, remember that they had said that Arnold Schwarzenegger was told that he would have to change his name if he ever wanted to go into acting because nobody would cast him because of the difficulty of spelling and pronouncing his name. If you are doing this for the film industry part, something you might consider doing is using your middle name if you have one as your last name. This is done sometimes, or another last name in your family.
Just my advice, that may or may not be good.

Yes, the ESB 70mm mix is different, with some changed lines and voices, among other things. but, the ESB 70mm mix isn't really available in any form as of yet. The 2004 DVDs are based on the 70mm mix and have most of the differences, I think. Someone who is more knowledgeable about such things might be able to correct me if I am wrong. There was a discussion on this thread about recreating the ESB 70mm mix from the DVDs, but it didn't happen. Hopefully someone will take on the project of recreating it, or maybe it will finally surface.

He claims to have started at episode number 4 of 6 - or - 4 of 9, depending on which interview he happened to give over the years. Yet, here in his official newsletter, it specifically states that Star Wars was number 1 of 12.

Star Wars was supposed to be inspired by Flash Gordon, Buck Rogers, and other science fiction serials of the 1930's and 1940's. Lucas is really into serials, and if you watch the Indiana Jones series and have seen serials, many of the stunts and sequences come almost directly from serials. Most serials ran for 12 chapters, some 15, and a few for 13. Maybe that is what Lucas originally had in mind, to do a long serial, but quickly decided that this was not realistic and quickly went down to 9, or 6.

Star Wars most inconsistent plot point, in my opinion: Star Wars Lethal Alliance game

Well, the hierarchy usually goes something like this:

Book of movie
Radio drama (book of movie and radio drama might be swapped)
Novels, comics, etc all fall under here.

So basically, if it takes place in a movie, it overrides everything.

If I'm not mistaken, the Infinities line is an alternate "What if?" series. I know that they also changed the comics within the last year or so to include a logo that says "this stuff may or may not be canon". The comics use to actually write stories that would fit in canon. Now, I don't think they even bother.

Infinities is defenitely non-canon. They have some bizarre stuff in there. IIRC, they had one were Chewbacca crash-landed the Millenium Falcon on earth and became bigfoot.

But Go-Mer-Tonic is right. What is canon and what isn't is ultimately up to the individual and how they want to see it. So if you want to think something is or isn't true, go ahead. There are already too many concradictions to sort out.

McCallum on Jar Jar & Kids before TPM came out
Time

I'd like to see an accurate poll on this matter - did Star Wars fans watch the PT because they wanted to, or because they felt they had to?

Once again, I saw TPM for the same reason as everyone else here, because I was excited to have a new Star Wars movie. I guess I'm a rarity on here because I actually thought TPM was good. I didn't think it was on the same level as the OT by any means, but it was ok. Could of been better with much less Jar Jar/Gungan sillyness.
AOTC and ROTS I saw wanting to see how this finally wrapped up. AOTC was horrible, easily the worst of the series, IMHO. The only saving grace of it was the great job that Christopher Lee did as Count Dooku, who I thought was wasted later on. ROTS was ok. After AOTC, I wasn't nearly as excited about ROTS as I otherwise would of been, because I didn't expect much out of it, so I thought it was pretty good all things considered.

Just kidding. Its always important for anyone to learn something, and a new language is great. Another benifit of waiting is that you can wait and see if the Wii bombs or is a big success. It stinks being the person who has the system that failed.

I downloaded it a while back from either Demonoid or piratebay, I can't remember which. It isn't called Dr. Gonzo or anything like that, but just original unaltered or original theatrical edition. The posted torrents have the three movies, then a bonus disc that is the extras from the laserdiscs. I wish I could be of more help, but as I said, its been a while.
