Conan The Barbarian 1982 US Theatrical Edition & BONUS! *RELEASED*
Time

Downloading a BD50 is out of the question for me, and I don't have a burner anyway.

Could someone kindly upload the PCM tracks please:

Original Film Mix:

1. PCM 2.0 (Mono)

Original Film Mix Restored and Remastered (Original 4-track mixing of the score) - 32Bit/96kHz DSP:

4. PCM 2.0 (Stereo)

Isolated Complete Scores:

5. PCM 2.0 (Restored and Remastered Original 4-track Mixing )

I will mux it to the mobile version DJ uploaded a while back.  The picture quality is not too bad!

Great idea with the mobile version! I'm unlikely to dl the BD version as my internet connection is not too great and don't have a BD burner anyway.

Can I suggest a smaller H264 version? One which is watchable on a moderate sized TV without much noticable quality loss.  We can easily create a mobile version off of that.

EDIT: Managed to get the mobile version.  I will be seeding it for a while. Noticed quite a few other seeders now, so hopefully they'll stay too.

Not going to watch this all the way for a while but after a quick flick through it looks great!  Must congratulate you on your work here, well done to all involved :)

Despite being the mobile version, the quality is quite decent.  I have only watched it on a monitor so far but if I sit back a bit I don't notice much compression artifacting.  The soundtrack is Stereo AAC.  Can I ask which track you converted this from?

Could I also ask whether it would be possible to upload the PCM Mono, Stereo & isolated score tracks so I can mux them to this version? Then it'll likely be my go-to version to watch.  Then I hope one day I can own the BD version of this!

Crap. Wish I had known of this. I need to pay more attention!

Don't worry, I'm sure others here will help you to get a copy, or put it on myspleen so you can download it.

Missed out too! I was going to donate.  Nevermind.  Hope someone can re-distribute with the same care when copying BD-Rs.

Upscaling Robocop Criterion (Released)
Time

Yup I also converted my Criterion DVD to a MKV container just yesterday - http://originaltrilogy.com/forum/topic.cfm/Converting-non-anamorphic-166-1-DVD-to-16-9/topic/15240/

I personally like the grain on this, so didn't bother with the cleanup script mentioned in the first post.

My TV is only 40 inch but this still looks beautiful to me.

Would love a Criterion Blu Ray version.  I'd be more interested in getting a lossless soundtrack than HD video.

Converting non-anamorphic 1.66:1 DVD to 16:9
Time

Ok I have finally given it a go and when I choose the 4:3 LB to 16:9 option in DVD-RB, it crops the top and bottom so that it fits the sides to a 16:9 frame. What do I need to do?

Regardless of that, the quality of the output is also not very good despite setting HC encoder to BEST and making sure its set to DVD9.

Can anyone help?

Thanks.
