STAR WARS - Enhanced HD & O-OT HD Packs... some suggestions...
Time
As long as he releases the O-OT, I really don't give a damn how he chooses to rape his movies next. He can add in a five minute scene of Han Solo taking a shit aboard the Millenium Falcon for all I care, because I'm not watching any new editions he puts out.

I was halfway through typing this post when I had an epiphany. I hear people talking about changes they want made to these movies and things like that, and I realized that Star Wars is the only movies that anyone does this with. You don't have people starting threads that say "Things I want changed/added for the 30th Anniversary Edition of The Godfather". But why Star Wars? They aren't Wikipedia articles that anyone can just go in and edit. They aren't gobs of Play-doh that can be grabbed and remolded whenever the sculptor wants. They're MOVIES. Movies that a few guys put together so that other people can watch. Did Michelangelo go back and change his statue of David because he heard people saying "I think this should be changed"?

Do you see the point I'm trying to make? They're just movies: deal with them the way they are.

Here's the problem I have with Signs: The aliens have the technology to travel billions of lightyears across the galaxy. They have the strength to jump right up on Mel Gibson's roof. And yet they can't even bust down Mel's f*ckin' basement door?! I don't think so!

Not to mention the fact that I don't buy Mel Gibson as such a pansy after watching movies like Braveheart, Mad Max, and The Patriot.

It strikes me as funny that fans would say Ang Lee failed to make the Hulk a good/great film because he has no sense of visual style as he is too much into the human story. I always thought that was exactly the kind of person you'd want directing a superhero film - someone who can actually get at the human story beneath it all.

I personally hated the movie, and one of the reasons I hated it was because that, after doing Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon and things like that, it seemed like he tried to incorporate lots of mystical elements into a movie that really didn't need them, such as his father turning into a storm. That was a major WTF moment for me.

And it wasn't the fact that he added too much human elements, it's the fact that he failed to make it interesting. Batman Begins didn't have that problem.

I'd give it a 2 out of 5.

If you liked that, try and download an English TV show called trigger happy TV. That's where the clip comes from.

I love Trigger Happy TV! They show it on Comedy Central from time to time. Or, rather, they used to anyway.

It was better when it was just the one guy. They added a few more cast members later on, but it wasn't as good.

Original Trilogy DVD my ideas
Time
Welcome to the forums! Hopefully you'll enjoy your stay here.

It would be a bit difficult for a fan to fix these difficulties (although I'm sure there are plenty who are trying to), there are tons of fan-edits available that should satisfy your appetite for OT DVD goodness. My personal favorite is ocpmovie's : "Star Wars: Classic Edition".

Until the XO project comes out, that is.

Do you mean that seriously or are you just messing with me?

I've been diagnosed as having Aspergers Syndrome myself. It sucks. Did I mention I hate Aspergers Syndrome?

I am an aspie myself too. I've created a topic about it some time ago, more than an year ago I belive. It's a curse and a blessing at the same time...

Did you know that Steven Spielberg has Asperger's Syndrome?
