If it's so damn awful, then why don't you just toss it?
I dunno, I just can't get into the EU books. They're just kinda boring. Maybe I'm just not reading the right ones, but I thought "Shadows of the Empire" was just OK, and I only got about half-way through the first "Rogue Squadron" book before I tossed it.
King: Yes, pretty much everyone says the same thing about sticking with his earlier stuff. My dad is a huge King fan and can barely tolerate any of his current/newer stuff. He's always enjoyed the Bachman Books more than almost any of King's work. Although, I can't imagine anyone being worse than Anne Rice at running at the mouth...3 pages to describe a blade of grass, please oh please...
I heard somewhere that the Bachman book "Rage" was pulled from the shelves because it deals with shooting up a school, and a kid that shot up a school had a copy in his locker when it was searched. Is this true?
He was also responsible for "Bram Stoker's Dracula". I'm still not sure how I feel about that one. Some parts were really good, other parts were total crap.
Well, I just watched Capote, and of the three nominees that I've seen ( Capote,Good Night, and Good Luck, and Crash), Capote was definitely my favorite. Oddly enough, Crash was my least favorite. I still have yet to see Brokeback Mountain and Munich, though.
Well, according to IMDb, ol' Stevie isn't on board for "Order of the Phoenix" (Michael Goldenberg is filling his shoes), but he is on board for "Half-Blood Prince". Might I venture a WTF?

Hot-damn! I wanna go to one of those!
Then apply! Maybe I'd see you there.
By the way, the screenwriting one I'm going to, apparently there's plenty of room left. PLENTY of room.
