Aw man, I can't believe I forgot Buckaroo Banzai!

Now for some old school:

All Quiet on the Western Front (1930)
A Day at the Races
Duck Soup
Monkey Business
Nosferatu (1922)
Safety Last!

Honorable Mention: MANOS The Hands of Fate!

And also, anyone that's a fan of silent movies should check out "The Call of Cthulhu"(2005). It was released last year on DVD as an independent release, and it's a B&W silent film that tries to recreate the style in which a movie would have been made of the H.P. Lovecraft story at the time it was written. Very good stuff.

Hypothetical: "Let's do it right this time!"

I think the planet names need some work. Naboo, Mustafar, Geonosis was acceptible I suppose, but I HATED Utapau. It was written a long time ago that the final battle had to take place on a lava planet, so why not just use Sullust? I believe Vader mentions it near the end of ROTJ, sounds less dumb then Mustafar.

Wait, wasn't Mustafar Simba's dad in the Lion King?

Well, on the brighter side of that, you made a movie? Awesome. What's it about?

It was a faux documentary about the local ghost stories that surround my school's campus, with four interviews with some of the people who have been affiliated with the school for quite some time (because the campus is shared by a Catholic monastery), and then about 30 minutes of myself and two friends on a ghost hunt in the old library late at night (with complete permission, of course). It turned out looking sort of Blair Witch-ish, but it wasn't meant to.

I also stole a lot of music from Batman Begins and AOTC.

What You're Reading Now: Revisited
Time
I tend to remember a lot of minutia that I should probably let go of. For instance I can tell you a lot of useless facts about when a lot of tv shows were produced, which episodes were made when, etc. Of course it hasn't made me rich yet!

I have the same problem with movies. I know WAAY too much useless trivia about movies. Then again, since I'm hoping to get into the film industry, I guess it's good to know the field.

Since we have a favorite songs thread, I thought this one would be a good companion for it. I'll start with a list of some of my faves, in no particular order:

1. The Godfather
2. Duck Soup (Marx Brothers)
3. Pulp Fiction
4. Star Wars
5. The Empire Strikes Back
6. Reservoir Dogs
7. Casablanca
8. The Maltese Falcon
9. Psycho
10. Love & Death (possibly Woody Allen's funniest movie)
