Alternate Endings For The Trilogy....
Time
Originally posted by: spaint
Millions of tons of molten metal from the second death star rain down on the forest moon of Endor, obliterating the rebels in orbit, their party on the ground, and all of the ewoks. Nuclear winter ensues, and the sterilized rock never becomes habitable again, although some salvage collectors are able to eke out a living over the coming centuries of lawlessness picking through the contaminated rubble. The new republic fails to materialize, and the empire fragments into hundreds of sectors ruled over by greedy and ruthless warlords.

Glad to see your version had a happy ending.

To pay tribute...heres a YTMND with a little bit of Iron Maiden's classic "The Number of the Beast" remixed to sound like Darth Vader is singing it.

The link for the YTMND: "IRON VADER"

Iron Maiden + Darth Vader = IRON VADER!

Did you make that, BBR?

Oddly enough, I'm the one that more or less started the whole "Vader singing" fad when I made Emo Vader back around October or so.

I also get goose bumps every time I hear the music during the scene where Luke's rage takes over and he wails on Vader in the passionate father-son dual. I was on the bus listening to it and I noticed the little hairs all over my legs and arms were standing straight up. It was 82 degrees in there.

I'm the same way. I picked up the ROTJ soundtrack just for that one bit. It's really emotional yet really eerie at the same time.

Theres just as many people that swear they remember the rebel fleet crashing into the Death Star shield in ROTJ as well.

I can distinctley imagine in my head an X-wing (or A-wing?) pulling sideways when the shield is found to be still up and not turnng fast enough and hitting the shield.

Was this in the novel (it's been 9 or so years since I read ROTJ) because I for sure remember me either seeing it at some point somewhere or imagining it like it happened in the movie while I was reading it. 5th grade doesn't seem so long ago suddenly.

That did happen in Independence Day. Perhaps someone is getting their sci-fi movies confused?

Superman Movie
Time
Speaking of the Superman toys, I saw a remote-controlled flying Superman toy (think R/C airplanes) as well as a Gak-like substance called Krazy Kryptonite.

C'mon man! Krazy Kryptonite! That's marketing genius!

http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a283/IAMTHECHEESE1138/krazykryptonite.jpg

Krazy Kryptonite compound can be molded, thrown, bounced, or stretched! The Krazy Kryptonite compound comes in a plastic molded case that is similar to the Kryptonian crystals featured throughout the movie, Superman Returns.

The green Krazy Kryptonite compound easily scoops out for a variety of ways to play.

Dudes, seriously. I popped in my Episode III DVD today (temporary brain anuarism) and pretty much chapter searched until I said, "Oh yeah. This scene...lets see...yup. That sucked. Dear god! The dialogue! So...horrible...brain hurting... Hayden...can't...act... *dies*

Ya know, despite ROTS being the least crappy of the prequels, it's also the only Star Wars movie that I've only seen once. I've owned it since Christmas, and every time I've tried to watch it, I've fallen asleep. I'm not kidding at all.
