Actually, Dayv is pretty easy to find. He's right off the highway.
My parents never really cared about the length of my hair one way or the other, it's just that my high school was really strict (private school, what can I say?), so now I'm just letting my hair down now that I'm out, so to speak.
Whoa, I've never even actually looked my age, much less older! And to think I used to get kids' menus at restaurants till I was about 15!
Yeah, take a look at those pictures. That guy in the brown jacket is almost exactly 15 years younger than the guy in the black jacket. Wrap your mind around that one.
Well, DAYV and I got the chance to hang out yesterday and watch the Cowboys/Eagles game. Needless to say, it was awesome, even if I did have to watch the Cowboys (The large amounts of barbecue wings made up for it).

I've toyed around with several different Pink Floyd synchronicities with this film, and some of the cool ones I've found are:
1. Starting the album "Wish You Were Here" at the beginning of "Jupiter and Beyond The Infinite". My favorite bit of it is that the cuts of the film when Dave's pod shows up in the mansion room are timed almost perfectly with the verse changes in Welcome To The Machine.
2. Starting "On the Run" right as the stripes of color begin to flash past during the warp scene of "JaBtI". (I got this idea from the video Roger Waters used for this song at his live show).
3. Syncing up Brain Damage/Eclipse so that the song ends as soon as the credits start rolling.
4. Starting "In The Flesh" so that the actual song (minus the little "Outside the Wall" segue bit) starts as soon as the MGM logo fades away (I've never gone any farther than this. Perhaps The Wall would be a good one to try as well?)
For some reason, "Jupiter and Beyond the Infinite" is the best part of the movie to monkey around with.
I've also heard that the studio disc of "Ummagumma", when played in its original order (which I'm not sure of, at the moment) syncs up well with the "Dawn of Man" sequence.
I'm anxious to see if any parts of the movie sync up with The Beatles' "Across the Universe". Seems like it would be appropriate for a sequence like "JaBtI".
Well see, my fondness for Zero Mission was sort of a gradual process. See, up until I fought Mother Brain I thought it was an okay remake. But then when my ship was shot down on the space pirate homeworld and I had nothing but a stun pistol, I thought it was an AWESOME remake.
Yeah, I picked up a Metroid addiction after beating Fusion a couple weeks ago. As soon as I beat it, I took out the cartridge, replaced it with Zero Mission, and breezed through that in a couple of days. Now I'm on Super Metroid.
And at my University, pretty much all they use is super-powered Dells chock full of massive computing power. If it's good enough for them, it's good enough for me.
