I not really surprised them two are voted in the top ten of all time, me personally I would put the original Star Wars before any of the others including Empire, and this and other many polls seem to prove that they are the genuine classics of the series as seen by film fans and by some Star Wars fans in general. Sith has done well to come in at no 40 and in one way surprised it got higher than Jedi,considering the reaction to the quality of Prequels by sections of film fans

I dont really have major problems with CG in general or with Star Wars, I would maybe preffered more natural locations or whatever for them,but it wasnt possible for some locations, I dont think CG is perfect IMO and some of the creatures he created look CG rather than lifelike but thats is maybe because the tool isnt upto the standard yet.

I like Gary Kurtz and grateful to him that he helped produce two of the greatest and two of my favourite films of all time, and do wonder sometimes what Star Wars would have been like if he and Lucas didnt part company.

I dont think Condorman is still in print, I believe it was released by Anchor Bay over in the US,there are bootleg DVDs being sold on Ebay but I would love to see back in print on DVD.

Once the've seen the O.O.T I will show them the best version of SEs and let them choose, but I dont want them or anyone know who is new to Star Wars seeing stuff like Greedo shooting first and going WTF!!! and cringing when watching these Classic films ive been talking about

I have no problem, showing any newcomers I know or my kids, The Prequels but I do have an issue showing them the official SEs, I will show my kids the O.O.T first as I saw it as a kid, and to whoever and what I think is the best version of SE.

I love every second of the original trilogy, now i dont have to watch the 04se those scenes I hated dont exsist anymore to me, thanks to the great DVDs from here.

I have always liked the first Highlander film since I saw it as a little kid. and liked Clancy Brown as the Kurgan and thought he was great villian and also Sean Connery as Ramirez etc and the music by Queen, and I still watch today now and again and still enjoy it and a shame the rest of the series didnt hit the same standard.

I dont really like Highlander 2 that much have seen the US cut and then the Renegade version both are pretty sub-par, but even though it isnt the greatest film ever I do quite like Highlander 3 and thought Mario van Peebles was ok as Kane in it though , though it had its little moments I didnt like Endgame, as said it is a shame none hit the heights of the first film which is dissapointing.

I agree, but he wont he will carry on blaming the fans, the media or whoever, for anything that doesnt go his way or whatever, and if hes covering up his contradictions, when it is so simple, the fans or the media or whoever wont care and will be happy if he says something like that, and he is honest and would prefer to all these lies and whatever he comes out with.

I have no problem with the "praxis" type explosions, though George could have been a bit more original, the only things i would like to see added to the movies are the deleted scenes such as the Wampa ones in Empire and the Vader force choking Moff Jerrioriod I believe.

ADigitalMan put those scenes back in his ROTS edit and are not bad when put in the film, but they do throw the pace off a little IMO and dont think Yoda landing is all that great. I just wish he would leave all six films alone and say enough is enough with changes to the films, Im happy with them and move on to something else except Indy 4

The book may be wrong, I have always thought it first appeared on the crawl in '81,but maybe it was thought of in '78, I know its a very long time ago but I dont remember the Episode 4 title added until a quite a few years after the original release of Star Wars.

Yes. And I've seen ROTJ recently too. The problem with Jedi, IMHO, is the Jabba's palace scenes. I've always felt that they go on WAY too long.

Thats my little complaint with Jedi, the scenes are good, but I would rather see or cant wait to see, the heroes heading towards the final confrontations at the end.

What do you mean by tempted? What's there to be afraid of?

I have seen books that look interesting, but not bothered buying them, because i would probably buy them and start reading them for a while, but not finish them for various reasons. so it would be a waste of money.

My vintage Star Wars video rental tape is from 1983, and the cover for that release is quite unique as Han Solo is called Hans Solo on the back of the cover.

Ive have been tempted by the EU once or twice, but never bothered, the only Star Wars novel i have ever read is Splinter of the Minds Eye all those years ago, and the only Star Wars book i own is The Star Wars Poster Book.

Me personally I put Jedi, just above Sith but that said parts are as good if not better, the problem for me, the Prequels havent stood the test of time though I dont hate them, and Revenge of the Sith is the only Prequel I will want to see again.

There is no way ROTJ is inferior to any Prequel film.
