I think I could only find a 72dpi source image so I’m not sure if it’ll scale up to 300dpi for DVD cover.

Well hey, if you’d like to make that change for the whole movie, I’d implement it! There may be a shot or two that’ll need it from Dominic’s version of the desert fight scene.
Absolutely, work has picked up quite a bit recently but I’ll definitely work on it in my free time and, at the very least, make it available for download for a loseless version

That one matches the old ones best so far, imo. Rey may need some sort of filter over her in the end, but what kind is questionable. The TFA cover has Kylo extremely red, but Luke’s effect in TLJ’s cover is more subtle.
Yeah, The designed varied between the two. I’m exhausted today but if Hal likes them I’ll tweak whichever he prefers

Those aren’t mine but the style is very easy to duplicate. Graphic design way my trade for years. I just Googled hal9000 in images. Seems like there are loads but wasn’t sure which style you’re actually going for with this trilogy.
Not really; there’s not much I can do beyond waiting for the remaining bits and pieces from others as outlined at the top of the OP. Once the edit is ‘locked,’ I can do subtitles and chapters and stuff like that. Once I get the Naboo shot from snooker I will put out another workprint.
Actually, one thing we still need is cover artwork. There was a good front image to use posted a while ago, but does anyone with the know-how feel like crafting something to compliment TFA:R and TLJ:L?

I agree, and after looking it up I would say there are definitely some good shots in there, but all I can finnd of the ride is just second-hand phone footage with the 3d double-vision effect still on. Do you know of a higher quality version online somewhere?

What would Chewie really be saying at that point of the film that would necessitate “it is” for a reply? That and Rey’s response just felt like a crammed-in jump cut to me.

I mocked up the ending with the cockpit shot (music-only) and I think it actually makes the final music track smooth out a lot nicer towards the end!
I also increased the warmth of the cockpit shot to simulate the sun through the windows.
It would be cool to include R2 and maybe D0 behind BB-8 at the end.

If you have the Falcons first clip a little longer then Ret’s final clip has the sun to her left, cut to the falcon with the sun on the left and end scene should work really well.

Yes but for the audiance seeing him in the cockpit makes the scene all more intense.
There were 2 clips of Kylo in the cockpit? and a close-up of his hands as he increases the speed of the TIE to put pressure on Rey.
Totally agree with the TIEs. While the idea and continuety is there I’m just not happy how the last part of the scene plays out and becomes a little to convenient compared to TLJ.
