JEDIT: Just fixed the issue with her hair.

Those aren’t mine but the style is very easy to duplicate. Graphic design way my trade for years. I just Googled hal9000 in images. Seems like there are loads but wasn’t sure which style you’re actually going for with this trilogy.

Actually, one thing we still need is cover artwork. There was a good front image to use posted a while ago, but does anyone with the know-how feel like crafting something to compliment TFA:R and TLJ:L?

Kylo at Jedi Temple by Jonh and Poppa (maybe)
Coruscant ending by poppa, audio fix by myself
Naboo ending by Snooker
Vaders shuttle switch by Poppa
Anakin as a force ghost by jonh

Soundtracks
Duel of the fates or Battle of the heroes (depending on whos cut)
Ambush on Coruscant (my cut)
Across the stars (Over Ben & Rey’s kiss) but not confirmed if right to use.

I agree, and after looking it up I would say there are definitely some good shots in there, but all I can finnd of the ride is just second-hand phone footage with the 3d double-vision effect still on. Do you know of a higher quality version online somewhere?

I mocked up the ending with the cockpit shot (music-only) and I think it actually makes the final music track smooth out a lot nicer towards the end!

I also increased the warmth of the cockpit shot to simulate the sun through the windows.

It would be cool to include R2 and maybe D0 behind BB-8 at the end.

And it would be AWESOME to include the ghosts of Luke, Leia and Ben watching them fly off.

If you have the Falcons first clip a little longer then Ret’s final clip has the sun to her left, cut to the falcon with the sun on the left and end scene should work really well.

I like the music change as well

There were 2 clips of Kylo in the cockpit? and a close-up of his hands as he increases the speed of the TIE to put pressure on Rey.

Totally agree with the TIEs. While the idea and continuety is there I’m just not happy how the last part of the scene plays out and becomes a little to convenient compared to TLJ.

Was there a conclusion of TIEs having Hyperdrives? I’m constantly getting into arguments online about this as I really don’t like the lightspeed skipping scene but there is also this https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/TIE/sf_space_superiority_fighter

I did it fairly easily and it flows so much better now. I can help if it’s something he wants.

How long did this take?

I started the week after the RoS bluray dropped (I had looked at the other movies prior but didn’t dig in until I had them all). I would say 2 or 3 weeks of actual editing over the course of 3 months. I had to take breaks, both to step back and re-think certain choices but also because I was going so gung-ho early on that I started giving myself mild carpal tunnel!

So glad you liked it! It was a lot of fun and I really can’t wait to see what other people do with the trilogy. There’s definitely potential for a coherent story there, the same as the prequels. Pretty sure I’ve seen some of your videos on Reddit - love how collaborative you are. Keep up the amazing work!

That’s pretty good going. Gung-ho is always a great buzz at the start but it’s knowing when to quit that’s the real art. Always good to come back with a fresh eye.

Yeah, I don’t think TROS and be fixed by myself alone and it’s been awesome meeting so many amazingly talented people in this forum. Makes a change for all the arrogant bitchiness on Reddit. I’ll let you know when I do my next test screening…

This works really Nice! Is it worth adding a few frames of the ships lights flashing on and off to indicate overall failure and to give the under belly a bit more detail animation on the docking bay?

Here, the narrator brings up a very interesting point:
When Rey fights those Red Guards/Sith Troopers after giving her saber to Kylo, they show the same action TWICE.

Like, she kills 6 guards, then we cut to Ben killing some more Knights of Ren, and then she kills those same 6 guards again, simply shot from various different angles, as if they were complete different set of guards.

Which, once you see it, holy shit, you can’t UNsee it.

Was this already talked about/did someone already fix this?

As if I couldn’t facepalm this movie anymore. Haha! Great video. Robothead brought up the guards in another video but it wasn’t as well constructed as this. I’ve now gotta re-edit that scene AGAIN!!! Thanks. 😉

No, it’s actually on Poes hair. It’s a large brush clone just above Poes right eye. Could be on a separate layer? I’ll send you a screenshot if it helps?

Great job Dude, Not sure if you noticed but there is a large clone dot on Poes fringe in the 1st and second frame.

Is there anyone with tracking and rotoscoping skills that could help me with a few small scenes?
