I’m thinking of having Kylo find the Wayfinder inside Vaders Castle instead of in the middle of the forest. This is my first rough test at animating the ship after the battle.

It’s why I’m thinking of using it after the battle and add The Whisperer to it instead. Have Kylo fly up to the Castle to find the Wayfinder.

It feels a little disjointed. maybe try Planet > Castle > Nev Lava > Forest Flyover so it feels like they are flying into a more recovering growth area?

EDIT: Have we found anyone to add the Tie’s in yet?

Absolutely true! Non of my artists are able to finish the scenes we’ve been working on and I’ve kinda hit a patch of Anhedonia this week. 😐

I agree about the worshiping singing. I also like the way Aquaman speeds off in the theatrical version rather than him disappearing.

I agree that Aquaman is watchable but any DC after dark knight was pretty gash. I couldn’t even get through the theatrical justice league or BvS, same with birds of prey and Wonder woman. Someone saved BvS with a no lex cut but the others cant even be saved in edit, imo.

Isn’t that just as simple as cutting up the parts?

Does anyone have a 4k version of the ahch-to clip? I just need the bit with Luke walking away from the burning tie fighter.

There were definitely rumours pre-release that there was going to be some DOTF included, I think that rumour may have originally stemmed from the John Williams forums? The closest that we ever got to a released “new” rendition was in this TV Spot: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bjdjyvnOGtg

Yeah, I think you’re right. Someone did link me to an unreleased OST a while back with some extra tracks but DOFT wasn’t in there. I would’ve like a newer version to add to that clip but I can only work with what’s available so I thought an acapella would be more fitting than having a musical undertone.

So many good shots in there if we can find someone to do element 3d stuff. I’d use someone on fiverr but I’m seriously running out of budget.

I think the Snyder cut is a whole new colour grade than previously used? I can’t say I’m a big fan of DC movies so I’ve only seen them once.

I’m just watching the original and thinking an overlay could be used in some 16:9 scenes. It’s weird how some scenes have extra bits in 16:9 while others are cropped and vice versa with 4:3. This cut may be more interesting than I first thought.

Yeah, I thought the colour was seriously washed out in places but the dark pallet work really well in others.

Has anyone seen the new BBC Perfect Planet series? Episode one has some incredible volcanic lava just gagging for some tie fighter to fly over it.

Its kinda way I added the kylo killing Vader scene. Its like he defeated his demon.
