Thanks! I’m glad you like them 😃

Covid has been a blessing and a nightmare all in one. It has allowed me to spend more time on this cut but it has limited the maximum creativity I wanted to put into filming new scenes. I’m so glad I found a company that produces such great props so this shot should come out great…

Here are a few things.

DUDE, You’re knocking this stuff out of the park 😃

Puppets look incredible. If the clunk sound is added maybe have them as crude as possible or like a wood instrument? here are a few wood sound effects https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IkU1PHC5cVY&list=OLAK5uy_lahPeo9h_ydQEM88bfOcDgh6zswVPEc14&index=94

Mustafar: I’ve been working on a similar scene and you can get away with speeding up the source footage 200% to give it more pace. I also have a first-order tie fighter 3d model if you know how to use it?

Capt Hux: The soundtrack dips really awkwardly. Are you just dipping the centre channel in 5,1 to add the new VO or is it from a stereo source? I can take a look at it for you if you wanna send me the separate line?

Okay, I want to try this now. But does anyone have an idea of what footage to put the transmission into?

Still putting the sequence together, right now considering animating the entire Hyperspace / Imperial shuttle shot in blender because I cannot access The Mandalorian scene, I’ve already cleaned up the audio for Lando and managed to remove the kid cheering, but definitely should still be static / crackly when Kylo hears it.

Check your inbox, Dude.

This is great. I think I have all episodes in high res. If you give me a timestamp I can share it with you? Was there also footage of a Star Destroyer in hyperspace at some point or was I dreaming it?

Yeah, I could try that. I didn’t want the AT-AT to do too much, because I didn’t want people’s eyes to be drawn to it and not at the Luke puppet, but a little more movement probably wouldn’t hurt.

Maybe give Luke a bit more animation up and down aswell? My eye is naturally drawn to the AT-AT anyway. The design is magnificent.

If the hand is an issue could you play the close up source backwards? I could try to roto it if you feel it’s an issue.

Don’t be sorry to me. It’s not my thread, think about Hal having to trail through all this bickering. Testingout, Jar jar and a few others were the reason I unfollowed this thread and stopped working on other people’s edits.

Can we all just “stay on target” and leave the moot debates for other threads?

EDIT: Appreciate the words from a Mod. 👍🏼

Seriously people!!

This thread has felt like a playground for months now. Both myself and others are losing interest in following conversations because it’s annoying af.

If people are being Dicks then just ignore them, don’t engage with them or even reply. Trolls feed off reaction so if you’re not helping/contributing or doing something to make this edit great then STFU and go play with your action figures or something. Grown-ups are trying to make a movie here.
