What?!
What?!
Which laserdisc? As far as I'm aware, no PAL laserdiscs had DD audio tracks.
It's talked about here: http://originaltrilogy.com/forum/topic.cfm/Ghostbusters-Filmumentary-Feasibility-Study/topic/15692/page/1/
I used to have it on VHS but later recorded over it.
So, the on demand video is about 30-45 seconds shorter than the video off your DVD?
It sounds like this is because of missing frames rather than a 60fps/59.94fps mismatch (as an audio speed up didn't fully solve the problem).
You will need to line up the two videos in an editor and find out where the on-demand version is missing frames, then make the corresponding cuts in the audio at those locations.
Check to see if the video on the DVD lines up frame-for-frame with the on demand version, if it doesn't, you might have a clearer idea of what's going on and where it goes out of sync.

So according to your argument, a child could still be "aborted" post delivery, up to toddler stage. Someone who reads the article could justify abortion up to 5 years old.

Hasn't he just won Eurovision?
Are you a bummer tied to a tree?
No?
Look out everyone, there's a bummer on the loose!
(School playgrounds in the '80s, so PC...)
Did we ever have Gringo?
Here's "Quiggly John" and "Wattle".
Don't know how authentic this is, but it's a pretty good watch:

h_h, did you ever do new versions of the Empire and Jedi mixes with the improved surround decoder/better channel separation?
I think the maths is correct, and the times are formatted correctly for tsMuxeR input.
The only thing I would note is that if the frame at that timecode is not an I frame then your player may skip ahead (or back) to the nearest decode-able frame.
I'm not aware of any software methods that will reliably fix VHS tearing.
This is something that the circuitry in DVD recorders is often good for. I can understand your points 2) and 3), but if you use the deck as a pass-through processor and capture the s-video output, there is no MPEG-2 compression involved.
Temporarily banned until we get a good explanation of what's going on.

I'd recommend the Ignore User option for these people.

The Terminator needs no sequel it's a perfect low budget science fiction film.
Surprisingly, for once I agree with Mr "I don't like ToD".
Although I do think T2 is enjoyable as a standalone film, if you forget what came before it (much like The Phantom Menace).
I'd like to bitch about how complicated console gaming is these days.
In the old days of the original Playstation/Xbox, you could just put a disc in and play the game.
Recently I bought, at the request of my son, "Plants Vs Zombies Garden Warfare" for the Xbox360. Reasonably priced at £20 I thought - but when it arrives I noticed a note on the box saying a separate Xbox live gold subscription is required to play.
Anyway, it took a frustrating number of hours before I could actually get this game up and running for him - hours spent doing updates, creating an xbox live account, amending account age to avoid having to also create a parent account, verifying email address, adding a secondary email address, verifying secondary email address, searching internet to find a free trial gold membership, arguing with the game when it said he was not logged in when he was, downloading game updates several times because it wouldn't seem to recognise that it has already been updated, creating an EA account, and so on...
Is it possible to record/capture the raw transport stream then use dgmpgdecode & avisynth for decoding & processing? If so, I'd suggest that would be a better option.
Is the logo static or animated? Opaque or alpha-blended (semi-transparant)?
That's because download links are not allowed on this forum.
You have to ask if Usenet is really the most appropriate choice for a distribution channel, if you are uploading password-protected files?
Maybe a private FTP would better suit your needs?

What if you played that on a PS3?
PS3 upscales to 1920x1080@24Hz.
I don't know what my TV actually does with this signal, but since I'm in a PAL region and it's quite happy dealing with a 50Hz signal I imagine it's not much of a push to go down to a 48Hz refresh rate.

btw I noticed 'Irish Jabba' aka Declan Mulholland is in it...
It was his very distinctive staccato Northern-Irish voice I spotted rather than the face, but it is him.
Occasionally I return to the Key to Time story arc; tonight I decided to watch the next installment which is The Androids of Tara - and Declan Mulholland appears in Part 1 of that story as well!
