And let’s not forget the EU glut that began in 1991 with Heir to the Empire.

Nothing will ever make them fit, no matter how much threadbare string and worn-out duct tape you try to wrap around them.
True.
Chewbacca looks a lot better this time around.
Needs to get closer to classic ESB look. Not so much ROTJ centre parting.
That being said these shoots always look nothing like the end product, seeing them on film always changes things.
Didn’t I say reddit was a cesspool? Cesspit? Open sewer? Something like that.

just don’t think about it too much.
Well… yeah it helps not to think about the PT I guess
ALIEN 5/5
Practically perfect.
ALIENS 5/5
Hell yeah.
ALIEN3 3/5
Assembly cut only. Doesn’t need to exist though.
ALIEN RESURRECTION 2/5
Hahahaha. No.
ALIEN VS PREDATOR 2/5
Remember when this was called Aliens Vs Predator? And was about futuristic shit and comics and space marines and it had arcade beat em ups and a bunch of other games with the exact same name for some reason? Apparently nobody got that memo.
PROMETHEUS 3/5
Eh.
Maybe before his turn to the dark side, Anakin mentioned to Obi-Wan that he and his wife were trying to have children, and he said “You know, I’d like my son to have my lightsaber when he’s old enough.”
The characters we got don’t seem to like each other enough to have such a chat unfortunately.
Where do you even begin. The real question is where can you find any actual plot congruity.
This week I’ll see if I can dig up any photos I have.
Cool, please do
I don’t know like never? What’s this thread about? If you can follow a movie plot then surely you know what a movie is.
I hope they don’t wait till 2020 to even comment about it.
I doubt they will comment on it then either
2020 is only a few years away…
The original 1980 just suffers from Lucas not sure how to do the Emperor until Jedi came out, so it’s this rather bizarre artifact that remains.
One person’s bizarre artefact is another person’s cinema history…
So correct me if my memory is incorrect, but Han and Dengar had a thing that went wrong during racing of some kind right? Is this backstory long dead after however many cartoon shows?

and then…
This is more stuff they purposely left out of the 2nd Blu-ray isn’t it?
Yeah but a publication called Star Wars Insider will probably just talk about how it was all for the best and Star Wars was finally changed to match George’s ‘Vision’…
I don’t think linking to the homepage of this site is a good idea. Have any of you seen the homepage? It looks like a defunct niche website from 2007. It says ‘news’ and the newest thing isn’t from this decade… no offense of course.
Yeah already mentioned somewhere, the letter will probably go up there

Because Star Wars was huge that summer and posters were an easy Fast Food promotion. A lot of the artwork was used for the glasses as well.
Fair enough, I like that kind of rough hand drawn merch from the pre digital days.
Here we go a quick search reveals a 1977 interview http://www.rollingstone.com/movies/news/the-wizard-of-star-wars-20120504
Ben almost kills Vader. As a matter of fact, he falls into a volcanic pit and gets fried and is one destroyed being
Also the ROTJ novelization
And this memory brought a wave of other memories with it. Memories of brotherhood, and home. His dear wife. The freedom of deep space. Obi-Wan.
Obi-Wan, his friend … and how that friendship had turned. Turned, he knew not how - but got injected, nonetheless, with some uncaring virulence that festered, until … hold. These were memories he wanted none of, not now. Memories of molten lava, crawling up his back … no.
This boy had pulled him from that pit - here, now, with this act. This boy was good.
Burger Chef did Empire Strikes Back Posters as well. The company was sold in 1982, so no Jedi posters sadly.
How is something called Burger Chef some of the most interesting artwork

Is this in a book or something? I remember my dad mentioned something like this years before ROTS.
Yep.

I truly love the Palpatine arc.
The what now?

The creatures were terribly cartoony, the acting so bad. The air-battling jedi were just goofy.
There’s a reason all this works so well with joke Immortals music overlaid onto it.
I honestly wasn’t that interested. There was some kinda artwork from a book or a trading card series that shows the Emperor lowering Vader’s helmet using the force? That’s about it. It was a striking image.
