Binary Sunset ending got me
Binary Sunset ending got me
Horrible though - are the gold dice being set up to connect the dots in the Solo movie…?
Okay let’s do it…
SW: 9/10
ESB: 9/10
ROTJ: 8/10
TLJ: 7/10
TFA: 6/10
RO: 4/10
PT: 2/10
Yoda looked really weird in the medium shots but close up it was much better. Also he had some nice lines. But mixed bag I guess. Leia in space kinda worked for me to be honest, it was like y’know the Force.
It didn’t suck and it was better than The Force Awakens. Structural problems, certain comedy/fan servicey aspects, and pacing are an issue … but I appreciated that it’s a movie that does a few things that are unexpected, while actually making the force feel magical again and also including enough good character moments for everyone. Rose was kinda meh, score was kinda meh. But stuff with Luke and Leia was great. It was overall… good. Maybe not great, but above the average so I approve.
KK: oh those are George’s
PH: oh those are ‘somebody’s’ wink wink
Call me crazy but I just don’t see a lot of wiggle room for interpretation any more, and it was only ever a tiny amount to begin with.
Really highlights what the problem with SEs and prequels is, too. George really didn’t change at all. I think this also shows that he stubbornly felt he was right all along. See how the trade talk pops back up in TPM’s crawl. Honestly surprised he didn’t make further changes in the SEs to return the film to its original version.
Quite right. 1977 could have just been The Phantom Menace under another name, and it would have just been known today as a weird over budgeted experiment.

He writes, “There’s one pretty noteworthy person who doesn’t want them released. Shouldn’t be too hard to research who that is.” (https://twitter.com/pablohidalgo/status/941382975853281281).I’m not sure what the subsequent discussion here is implying but this seems pretty unambiguous to me (his shitty sarcasm aside) … and it’s the same thing everyone was told by Kennedy months ago. What else is there to debate now?
Kennedy never commented on the possibility of an OOT release.
Only if you grasp hard enough at all those straws.

Uggghhh
Damn I fixed on typo and made a new one
Avoiding TLJ spoilers
I hate to break it to you OP but they’re all going to die. The whole cast. Everyone on this board. Dead.
They’re choking themselves to death at the sight of his beauty, knowing they could never reach such handsome heights.
The exact words of James Khan
Early reactions are bound to be positive, as they are for any release of this kind. It’s tough to stop reading spoiler threads here and articles elsewhere, but I can wait 5 days until Friday to see it for myself.
I still say the restoration of an unaltered OT would be a much bigger deal than we’re giving
To who though? The Special Editions aren’t one of the best selling home releases ever because people just want to own fan edits with a clean conscious…
Correct. Some of us initially bought it because it was the only option and it was better than nothing. Probably not an unsubstantial number of people.
And the other 99% bought it because they want to watch the Star Wars and they have it now.
Gout? My grandpa had that one timeEasy sell for a marketer.
‘As you’ve not seen for 25 years…’ or something.
It’s an interesting idea but again it depends if people remember or care about what happened in 1997.

I just saw this earlier today, great stuff. Of course while many people here and elsewhere know all about the work of the editors on the project it’s great to see this kind of research and video essay style showing new viewers.
LOL, what a bunch of geeks in that Q&A. 😄
Haha yeah. This was great, thanks for posting.
“People” want X-Men meets Avengers movies. Why would they need Star Wars? They have Star Wars. They have had Star Wars: CGI Song and Dance Edition for 20 years and they probably like it.

HMV in the UK are doing Rogue One on blu ray for £9.99 - with a new / different sleeve cover than before:-
It’s one of those new Disney covers, from what I can tell they’re trying to move DVD copies of everything from Pixar to Marvel. This one being Blu-ray seems like an exception.
But wait there’s more
