I don’t think that’s a bad thing.
Don’t you remember how Obi-wan died but somehow the saber didn’t even touch him and even Vader looked confused, and this weird mystical occurrence ruined the whole movie.
Hahaha the whole Mace Windu thing and the way they all act is comedy gold. Like a bunch of drunks. “We must move quickly!” - walks as casually as possible.

I’m also still confused about the whole “Disney ruined it” thing. I mean sure there are jokes that push things a little too far into Avengers territory, but otherwise how exactly is this is a safe corporate product? I’m pretty sure if they had their hooks deeply into Johnson it would be the film certain people really wanted with Luke cutting down 20 AT-ATs and an entire “Rey I am your father” scene so that all the basic fanboys are satisfied. I don’t really see any tight leashes on the writing here. Plus the “Mark Hamill said some things so that validates my entire perspective” line of thinking is also just weird.
Why is that scene a sticking point at all though? A Jedi can do all kinds of wacky things, and this falls under ‘knowledge and defence’ last time I checked. Jumping out of a trap or grabbing an object is fine but woah holding your breath and reaching for the nearest airlock is craazy. The only dumb part is that she didn’t pull inside the other bridge officers and seal the hole behind them.
Well ‘master of the Knights of Ren’ could be totally sarcastic, but I assume they’re his own friends or a bodyguard with some loyalty. The more interesting idea is whether the First Order itself will follow him blindly or not. They could explore how it functions and how they’re financed by using this idea to fill those TFA blanks… but I doubt it will happen.
There’s a show on Netflix called The Toys That Made Us and part one is Star Wars if anyone is interested. A lot of stuff people will know about and plenty of gaps in less than an hour running time, but plenty of interviews etc.

The prequel listing is negligible, but it goes TPM for some vague memory I have of the set pieces, then ROTS for Palpatine’s scenery chewing, then dead last AOTC for being worthless. They all basically suck at the same PSI though.
They dumped Colin Trevorrow because of The Book Of Henry. Or because he was a jerk and thought he was a big shot who could push Kathleen Kennedy around. Depends what you believe. There’s no connection between this and TLJ. The most concerning part is that Terrio is on board as a “writer” for some reason.

On Twitch they talked about how one of them didn’t like it that much and got lots of vitriol on Twitter. Then another member said they liked it a lot and got lots of vitriol on Twitter. Star Wars everyone!
Yes, I have that set. There were only four discs from the SE so that was good.
A couple of discs eluded me so I had to send away to a classified ad to get them.
The easiest way to complete the set was by buying a multi pack of crisps as they used to chuck about five discs in the bottom of the pack.
There were always a lot of terrible CGI Jabba ones. You had to buy Doritos to get certain ones I recall. I have no idea where the damn things are, lost to the ages.

Okay these are a few things that would lead on from what we saw but also give us some entertainment value
The problem now is you have this terrible Rose love plot that does nothing, when she should have rescued Finn after his ship got hit by the laser machine to finish the ‘never meet your heroes’ plot thread. A week after seeing it this is the part that feels the worst in both terms of inclusion and execution.

Left the cinema with a smile once again - but with a more fulfilled feeling this time - and TLJ will still likely be in my thought for a good few weeks to come - and that’s what a good enjoyable film should do, isn’t it? (For me, anyway.)
This was my lasting impression. It’s not perfect. It’s not as good as the OT. But I did walk out on an unexpected high.
It’s hard to say exactly. A lot of people cite the weird tone in places, the gags and the quips. Others just don’t like the answers to certain mystery box questions. Others think Luke was “ruined” or something. Conversely others like all this switcheroo stuff so I guess that has lot to do with it.
