I don’t understand why those were changed on DVD with those really bad theatrical recreations, to match the prequels on DVD… which had also lost their theatrical artwork. Do they think it won’t sell without photoshopped crap on?

I already asked this, but are we really sure we see Rey’s parents leave in that ship? Maybe it was just a random ship and Rey imagined her parents were in there, because that would make it easier for her.

Given Rey’s response to Ben, it’s clear that Rey has maintained a myth about her parents in her mind. Why can’t she have manufactured a memory? Not that unrealistic. Indeed, there are still Star Wars fans who maintain that Luke’s first go at the grappling hook missed when SW first hit theaters.

It’s not unreasonable to think that Rey ran off looking for her parents as a child, and she just assumed they were on one of the ships docked in Nima Outpost. Did she actually see them get onboard or is just a scene where she ran off some time after being dumped there?

There’s probably a thread there somewhere about it, whether it’s theatrical sound channel differences or later SE changes.

No I don’t mind comic relief in general but when it veers into cartoon physics like the coins or the AT-ST gag it’s too much. Overall I’m a lot more forgiving of this sort of thing compared to those who genuinely disliked the film though.

It would have made more sense to show him getting greyer as time went on, since it would then line up with Vader’s face too as they were both dark side users. Didn’t he look worse in AOTC than ROTS? It’s a redundant rebate I suppose.

Oh I always talk about those guys when watching ROTJ. I never thought about it that way, but it makes some sense. Usually I figure that they just represent politicians haha.
