Wonderful
Wonderful
I guess? At least make a real series or something.
Since there are many mainstream documentaries without music or images from the subject matter I would say “fair use” is something people pay for these days.
Besides the low production value it was so dull and short, what was this for exactly?
I never heard about a follow up, interesting. I thought the original was pretty fair to be honest.

The PT is really lacking in any substance when it comes to that part of the story. And the conversion is really at the heart of the PT
It’s a pretty fatal flaw when it’s supposedly why they exist in the first place
The droid slave idea is in every movie, this is just another example. Also, electronics are a sci-fi thing not a Star Wars thing. There they use hydro-spanners and and kind wacky nonsense.
If a smaller label like Arrow Video can pick it up they must be freely available
I just hope he narrates it
All those Dan Brown adaptations are lame. Rush was okay though.
The Thing is getting a 4k restoration.
Well it’s a masterpiece so why not.
I just hope he narrates it
Haha if only

try to use the Ring Theory then bitch that TFA was a rehash in the same breath.
I don’t think my brain operates on that level

the average viewer is a moron.
Correct. And so that is my point.
“In a 100 years people will know… etc” is total nonsense. People don’t know anything.
Popeye Doyle shot first!
But if you showed someone an average viewer today a colourised version, or one with sound added would they know what was wrong?
The truth is out there
None of the people in that time are going to have fond memories of watching Star Wars or Hayden’s Ghost or Jedi Rocks when they were little kids. Nobody is going to be a “Star Wars” fan and think the Emperor changes in ESB are awesome because they keep the “continuity” together.
No, but they will just think that is how it always was, and how it always will be…
A hundred years from now, the only version of the movie that anyone will remember will be the DVD version [of the Special Edition], and you’ll be able to project it on a 20’ by 40’ screen with perfect quality.
That’s obviously not going to be true. A lot of wanting there from George.
More than likely in 100 years nobody will remember the SE, but the originals will still remain.
Some people dont even remember the originals now though.

A truly morbid decision would be to present the stripped out scences as officially tagged DELETED SCENES … with introductory commentary from Lucas for each change. That Bonus disc would be some sort of hearing: the trial of the OUT with George Lucas as accused/witness/victim in one person 😉
This is truly horrifying. So that means it’s likely to happen.
Hoo boy
It was okay but they rehashed way too much from Businessweek Strikes Back
Even if someone did believe the ring theory 100% it’s not in any way a factor in what makes a movie good. It only exists because some lunatic was trying to raise up the PT to a higher place when in reality it will always be in the sewer.
God I hope not. But if true also fuck them for still using the who shot first thing.
