- Am I the only one who doesn't have any desire to rewatch the movies outside of the OT and Rogue One?

I don’t even want to rewatch Rogue One.
I don’t even want to rewatch Rogue One.
She’s Princess of Alderaan not Princess of the Galaxy.
She tactfully diverted the question so that she could answer it another way, which is part of being an executive with that kind of responsibility. Elsewhere Pablo Hidalgo basically told everyone what we already guessed right? On Twitter somewhere iirc. In reality it’s only something that can be answered probably someone higher up at Disney rather than LFL.
It looks a lot darker than Mando and BOBF, which is something that I’m very on board with.
Your eyes can deceive you, don’t trust them.
Well okay, cool thanks for stopping by. I hope you’re not too sad that they’ve spent so much time burying the work of you and your colleagues.
For a sec I thought that John Williams was in full Ewok get-up
Looks like Mos Espa again tbh
Trilogies didn’t really exist before Star Wars though. At least not in the same fashion. It could have been series like Planet of the Apes where it just kept going until it ran out of steam entirely.
Anyway, on topic, no Vader as he was in SW originally should not have been shown in the PT.
Imagine if ‘you should not have come back’ was actually Vader referring to the Death Star. I mean why not. Throw in Palpatine, CGI Tarkin, CGI Leia.

Is “Star Wars: The Interactive Video Board Game” available in PAL?
This was a mess. A very stupid one that makes the whole creative team seem questionable. If they were going to be making him a leader instead of a killer, where’s the clever diplomatic resolution? Are we supposed to believe that this pathetic band kept out a huge force from a whole planet? Won’t they just move to another region? Why didn’t anyone lay explosives under the battle droids? There are so many baffling writing problems that we would be here all day. Sigh.
I would have settled for a revenge story. But so far I’m confused what he’s doing, or why Bib Fortuna… betrayed him somehow?
For me the only place that felt alive in this way was the original version of Tatooine, echoing posts above. The Dune Sea bones, the Jawas, Sandpeople, farmers, the space port. The movie spends a lot of time here and it’s all really interesting, while leaving a lot of unknown empty spaces in the desert. It’s one of my faves. But only the first time around tbh. I don’t care for the newer iterations that turn into a feudal world ran by space slugs and cartels.
Not from the era without thinking longer about it.
From the 90s though the things that I recall immediately recall are the X-Files episode Small Potatoes https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uqNC2K4YbK0
And the ending of this Spaced episode https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5XMkW1btoEM

Why are so many talking about Din taking a new ship both here and elsewhere online? He already has a new ship. And seeing as him going back to bounty hunting for a 2nd time would be odd character growth I don’t see why he needs a replacement.
I always assumed he lived aboard the Razor Crest too, unless I’m missing something.
The hat wasn’t big enough.
Many elements are directly re-worked into Fallen Order. Forced walking segments like Assassin’s Creed and scripted action chases from Uncharted are everywhere nowadays though I suppose. I wish there was a middle ground between empty open worlds and smaller populated levels.
25 years of this limbo, oh well.
But is that actually in the movie? His shots would have to be totally inaccurate and again still very OP - compared to what is seen in Empire.
During the Death Star escape/Falcon turret scene for a second you can see the eye of the first TIE Fighter pilot that comes in.
Han’s blaster in the original movie is wildly inconsistent, from Greedo’s death to the massive explosions on the hangar bay walls. As for Uncle Owen, I always assumed they just started a fire to cover their tracks.
I don’t have any evidence but to me, Beggar’s Canyon in the latest episode looks like a new miniature that’s just very accurate to the original version.
Yeah, the similarities begin with the basic shape of the two paths and cliff sides, and that’s it. The rest doesn’t match at all in terms of the houses, rocks, or even that little light beacon in the foreground.
Interesting how much they’re throwing in the prequel references. This latest episode featured Din flying a Naboo starfighter, which he built with the help of pit droids, through the Beggar’s Canyon podracer route. All Phantom Menace iconography.
It’s all got to be normalised along with the special edition stuff, to stay on brand. Same goes for the Fallen Order easter egg stuff.
Same thoughts as above, good episode, wrong show. Seemed like a jump in budget too. How’s he going to get by in such a small ship though…?
