I wonder how people would see these characters had they not died. For a character like Bohdi all he had was a good death scene so without that there’s nothing to really get emotionally invested in.
A little screen presence goes a long way. But the ones with natural charisma didn’t get enough to do personally.
The Marvel comics version probably gave a few young fans spooky dreams. 😉

It’s more the colours I think. Jabba is quite strongly orange and green and in that he just looks really dark for some reason. Especially the eyes. The weird skin pock marks don’t help.

It’s just a community poll by the readers, take it as you will. Empire itself is the biggest printed movie publication in the UK. Lots of money for exclusives and access to film stuff (guest editor Steven Spielberg etc). They’re also the ones who gave Attack of the Clones the infamous 5/5 review score back in the day. It would still be laughed about if they hadn’t shut down the boards.
The Inceptionesque effects are a mess. In a world where Inception didn’t happen they might have been a draw but even then they are over used.
In a world where people have Mandelbulb images as their computer wallpaper it was kind of distracting. The movie overall was pretty meh, right on that bland line in the middle.
Weird, it’s available on Amazon here. What I don’t understand is why there are so many US artwork versions and here it’s the awful black triangle with floating heads or nothing.

Agh I spent ages looking for the last blog I saw that pic on, and it just says “Richard Marquand and a Darth Vader stand-in”. It’s weird that this is just the new lightsaber scene and not a stunt, maybe he never got credited if it was just a reshoot for that one moment. Interestingly his cloak is over the chest armour like the original costume.
Who is this guy? I didn’t know there were other people in the Vader suit other than the three OT guys.
Stunt Vader? The pic is probably in The Making of ROTJ but that is a book I don’t have to hand.
Now that I think about it, where did Ben’s boots go when he vanished?
Now that I think about it, I haven’t ever noticed what Ben was wearing on his feet. Perhaps he was barefoot.

Just saw a Lego commercial for Rogue One playsets, and it’s hilarious how they ignore the pesky issue of Jyn and Cassian dying in the movie. 😉

Some of them are just a mystery though. Wasn’t Jabba’s entrance wide enough? Is the cost so expensive that all these weird things are spread over 3-4 different releases?
