Glasses with electronically controlled lens. Both camera views were shown in sequential order on the screen, and the glasses would only allow the left eye to see one image, and then the right eye would see the second image (One lens is "off" or closed when then other lens is "on" or open.) Theses images are alternated quickly so that the mind takes both images as coming from regular stereoscopic view, and combines them.

Not only that, but it also says "Experience Video-to-Disc in one click - the fastest way to copy your movies to disc, without having to store the video onto your hard drive first!". It takes a lot of horsepower to convert to MPEG in real time, assuming that's what it's talking about here. I'm very interested in knowing how it accomplishes this.

Well, I got my NEC DL burner for $60, and it works great (and DVD Shrink lets me copy commerical DVDs.) Standalones may be good for copying on-air TV shows, but they don't do much for actual copying/authoring of DVDs.

But it's your sixth channel, so one of the films will have to go there, unless you combine two films into one channel.

Oh damn...that would be weird! I wonder which soundtrack should be relegated to the LFE (It would have to be one of the PT for me. Maybe AOTC?)

BTW, I am soooo going to do DE's trick with the films. It would be great stuff to have playing in the background.

Can you post a few seconds of your recording, so we can hear it?

I can't imagine why it might be doing this. Have you tried copying a commercial DVD (will it let you?)

This is why I like a burner in my computer instead. Direct digital copies rule.

Well, I really liked Rebel's as well. It's very sharp-looking, but the spacing is too exact for my personal taste (but it certainly made me go back and adjust mine a little more. I liked how he had "Anakin Skywalker" right in the middle of the sentence.

LOL. You've go to admit, Adam, that yours is not an attitude about the SW films that is entirely welcome on these boards, even if you didn't come across as a petulant teeny-bopper. There are many other boards where you can gush with others about the changes, rather than being harrassed by folks who are "blinded by nostalgia."
