Luke's ROTS Review (plot holes included)
Time
"Why would being in the presence of Obi Wan cause a tremor in the Force?"

Do you presume to know what does and does not cause a tremor?

"but feeling a 'tremor' seems like a very odd thing to say."

As opposed to what? As far as the films go, the only thing that causes anything more than a tremor is the destruction of a planet.

"but the last time he felt a tremor in the Force was around Obi Wan? What is the Emperor, chopped liver?"

I believe he's referring to the distinctiveness of the tremor. The fourth version of the script states this:
Quote

A tremor in The Force. But the only
time I've felt it such as this was in
the presence of my old master.

"Wouldn't that get to be a bit distracting, as much as Obi Wan and Anakin saw each other, that everytime Obi Wan walked into the room, there was a tremor in the Force? "

Keep in mind that, in ANH, Vader doesn't say "The Force is strong with this one" until immediately after Obi-wan talks to Luke. It wasn't Luke that Vader was sensing - it was a tremor in the Force (or, more specifically, Obi-wan, who is now one with the Force.)

I might also add that Vader knew which hallway Obi-wan would be taking in ANH. Funny that he didn't go to the hallway that his children (whom you think he sensed) were in, and together, no less.

Not to mention that Force sensing isn't an exact art, and Force presences can be hidden (Ben didn't sense Vader in the hallway, Palps didn't sense Luke at Endor, and Qui-gon and Obi-wan didn't sense Maul on Naboo.)

ROTS: Incoherence ... (attention, a little bit of spoiler inside)
Time
No, this isn't the case at all. Luke specifically mentions her "real mother", and Lucas states in the Annotated Screenplay:

Quote

"The man Leia called Father was obviously not her father. He is part of the group that ends up having to fight Darth Vader in the film that will be out in 2003 [laughs]. The part that I never really developed is the death of Luke and Leia's mother. I had a backstory for her in earlier drafts but it basically didn't survive. When I got to Jedi, I wanted one of the kids to have some kind of memory of her because she will be a key figure in the new episodes I'm writing. But I really debated on whether or not Leia should remember her." - George Lucas: The Annotated Screenplays

Of course, this won't prevent some people from choosing to believe otherwise, but doing so completely sucks all the emotion out of that scene, but what can you do?

Things you DID like about Episode III

LOL...I hadn't noticed that. I guess he could have had more than one.

"okay too much cackles in duel but everything kicked ass "

I don't think it's bad - think about it, everything Palps has set into plan has worked, and he finally gets to vent his anger and celebrate his victory after decades of keeping everything bottled up. Palps was totally unloading on Yoda, both physically and verbally. I think he deserves a little leeway - he's certainly earned it.

Just as Vader didn't sense Leia as his daughter when she was standing directly in front of him (and especially while he was torturing her.)

"- In EP4 ObiWan says he doesn't remember ever having owned a Droid, in EP1 or 2, he owns one ... (oki, he might have lied to Luke ...)"

Ask Obi-wan if he has a receipt.

Besides, throughout the PT, R2 belongs to Padme, and 3PO belongs to Anakin - until they are both given to Bail Organa.

"- More arguable: In EP4 ObiWan tells Luke that Vador has tracked and assassinated all Jedi Knights, but watching EP3 you see almost all Jedis have been killed by the republic commandos, Vador killed the ones in the Jedi Temple and didn't actually "track" any Jedi. Maybe has he tracked some Jedis after EP3 ... but watching the movie you really have the feeling the Jedis are already all dead."

We only see a handful killed onscreen, and the whole reason for Obi-wan and Yoda to return to the Jedi Temple is to change the "Return Home" beacon, to keep any left over Jedi from returning to Coruscant. These are presumably the Jedi that Vader later seeks down and kills (in between ROTS and ANH.)

"Dark Vador"

I want that to be my new username - LOL.

***The MeBeJedi feedback thread ***

"Anything new going on with that?"

Actually, I've not yet burned a DL disc yet, but it burns SLs just fine.

"Bizzle's recordings"

What do you mean by that?

"everal audio tracks (i found the list before on this thread and imagine it would be incredible) and subtitles
original aunt beru dub - "blast it wedge" dub - c3po death star explanation --- can i assume that all these appear on the mono track?"

Not that this thread is intended for wish lists ( ), but it's more likely that there will be a couple of versions: straight transfers of Def. Col. and Faces (my personal preference), a "77" version (crawl, soundtrack), a "cleaned up" version (visual glitches removed), a PAL version, different languages, etc. There's a lot going on behind the scenes, so don't expect eveything at once, but at some point, we hope to eventually have something for everyone. At this point in time, it makes much more sense to have separate releases, than a "one size fits all" release.
