Episode II: Shroud of the Dark Side (the TM edit) (Released)
Time
This does sound somewhat better than the first time, but I still prefer Hayden's audio. This just sticks out, because the voice is too deep. It doesn't sound natural. It sounds like you are intentionaly deepening your voice. If you are doing it to make him sound tougher then it isn't a good thing. People with voices that naturally deep are usually thicker built and stockier. Hayden is not built this way, and this new voice stands out. I don't take a person more serious just, because their voice is extremely deep.

Transformers The Movie: Resparked (Released)

Maybe it because I didn't watch the series, but I thought Frenzy was perfect. His personality is of a person who is so smart that they are dangerous. Most extremely smart people have no common sense. Look at how dies. He is trying to accomplish his mission and does something without thinking about the consequences showing his lack of common sense. He shoots one of his blades at the humans attempting to kill them, but doesn't think about what the consequences are for himself, and it results in his own injury. Also, he is such a major part of the humor of the film. The audience I was with laughed the most at him.

The courts said they couldn't stop people publishing their photos as long as other objects were in the image or background. This is because the person could say he was taking a picture of something else and the eifel tower was in the shot but he took the shot anyway. The person who took these pictures can argue the same logic, such as, " I was taking a picture of my hand at different angles when turning pages to visually determin the stress on joints and how the muscles in my hand would flex, since this was the book I had at the time it became part of the experiment." Also, the person who originally posted all the images didn't title them in any specific way so his intentions may not have been the reproduction of the book. If a lawyer will argue a case of someone suing McDonalds for making them fat and win, then this kid could win his case. Also, Scolastic is the one who said libraries could open the boxes early, that is their own stupid mistake.

I'm pretty sure that case was unique in that the Eiffel tower is a public landmark. I'm also pretty sure that a judge would laugh in your face for even attempting a defense like that. So you had to flip through nearly 800 pages to determine how your joints moved and then instead of posting it somewhere like myspace or facebook, you put it up in a torrent that clearly is related to Harry Potter and not images of joints moving? HAHAHAHAHAHA. GUILTY!

This guys intentions are very clear and I'll be surprised if he isn't prosecuted. You may think your defense will work, but a judge isn't going to think so (I don't think even you think it'll work, sounds more like a devil's advocate argument). This is definitely a copyright violation.

He did put the pictures up on Facebook. Someone else grabbed the pictures and uploaded them elsewhere, and one person went as far as to type the entire book out. Also, I know that that whole joint experiment defense probably wouldn't work, but considering that someone can sue McDonalds for making them fat and a number of other stupid things that happen in America's court system I wouldn't be surprised if a defense like that passed as acceptable.

How is it that he did not reproduce the book in any form??? The book was very much reproduced. What he did was completely illegal. Low quality images has nothing to do with anything, it is still reproduced. Where did you come up with this technicallity between scanning and photographing? They are essentially the same thing. This is like saying that filming a movie in the cinema is not piracy and is perfectly legal because it is merely a low quality taping of a film and not an actual reproduction of the DVD or a screener.

That was great, CC! I am so glad you changed the music around. I can nto stand Battle of the Heroes. It is nice only haveing it at the end. Also, I feel the change in music and resequencing of shots really helped the two duels flow into each other better. One of the problems I have with the original is that it felt to episodic. You would watch Anikan and Obi-Wan duel and then you would switch to Sidious and Yoda dueling and it was like they had been waiting for the audience to show up befor ethey went at it again. It didn't feel like the two duels were actually happening at the same time. Now does. I also like how you have Obi-Wan jump straight to the bank, and Anikan jumping after him. It really does improve the duel. Keep up the good work!

This leak happened because Scholastic said libraries were allowed to open the boxes and catalogue the books before the release date. So the ones getting in trouble should be the idiots at Scholastic who made that descision.

And Bloomsbury or Scholastic can't really charge the person who leaked it with copyright infringement like they want to, because the person who leaked it only posted pictures of the book on the internet. You have to scan the book, or type the book out and make it available as an ebook for it to be copyright infringement. It is not illegal to take low quality images of abook and post them on the internet. Since he did not reproduce the book in any form he can not be charged. And if he did not sign the contract saying he would not leak the book then he can not be charged. If he has a good enough lawyer he should avoid jail time.

All the money wasted on this book's security could have been been sent to Darfur or sent to the family of the Madison kid ( I think that is her name) who went missing. Maybe now the publishers will learn, as long as the internet is around there will be leaks of everthing.

Why does the Qui-gon voice need to be in there at all, or the entire part where yoda tells Obi-Wan he has training for him on Tatooine? Before the PT I had no problem believing that Obi-Wan knew how to come back as a force ghost. I figured it was something he learned to do after he was killed. Why even bother with trying to explain it in the PT?

All you would have to do to achieve this to cut the scene of Yoda meditating, and Bail informing him Obi-Wan is arriving.
And later on the Tantive 4, after Bail stands up in the conference room on the Tantive 4 and Yoda says "and now into hiding we must go" cut to Bail walking up to Antilles to give the droids to him.

There is no need to explain anything about the force ghost or mention Qui-gon. It dumbs down the Force for the audience, and makes it less mysterious. Let the audience draw their own conclusion as to why Jedi can come back as force ghosts.

This would remove the need to insert and mix dialogue from other films that does not sound good and stands out very badly.

SUPPORT BOON IN HIS HOUR OF NEED
Time
Thanks for posting the injuries, Boon. I hope the person that hit her gets what he deserves. It makes me sick that people get so impatient that they neglect to think about other people's saftey, and choose only to care about themselves. By running that red light he probably would have at most got wherever he was going ten seconds early. It is not worth the risk to run a red light. Now because of that man's stupidity and impatients your daughter was put into a situation that could have easily cost here her life. Keep us up to date on your daughter's recovery.

GoodMusician, great job with the edit of Anikan going over the Lava Fall.

Some nitpicks:

1.Cut the part where Anikan ignites his saber and attempts to run and jump from the structure. Make it so that he swings back on to the structure and before he can even attempt to run and jump off it he plummets down the lava fall.

2. Not really a nit pick but when you pull away from the falls after Anikan has fallen down the falls you can see the structure still floating down the lava river in the background. This can be removed with Adobe After Effects.

3. After you have the shot that pulls away from the lava fall I would cut Obi-Wan's reaction shots and go straight to volcanoe erupting shot and then to Obi-Wan approaching the ship. The reason for this is because you already have two reaction shots from Obi-Wan before you have the pull out shot and don't really need two more. If you don't want to remove these shots at least get rid of or replace the last shot of Obi-Wan where he is holding his ignited lightsaber right before the volcanoe shot. It just doesn't flow naturally with the other reaction shots, because they are close up facial shots and that is a full body shot. I understand the emotion that is supposed to be portrayed by Obi-Wan's body stance, but it feels awkward among the other reaction shots.

And about not showing Anikan surviving his fall over the lava fall, I like this and it would keep Anikan's fate unkown.

Episode 3 - Editing Back in Progress (* unfinished project *)
Time
When I first saw the film in theatres I remember watching the big arm structure they were on plummeting to the bottom of the lava fall and thinking "why didn't George have Anikan go over the lava fall with the structure?" They even linger on the shot of the arm structure plummeting to the bottom of the lava fall so that gives you the required screen time for the audience to hear Anikan's screams as he plummets to the bottom with the structure. I also like the idea of Anikan going over the lava fall, because it is more in line with how I imagined Anikan getting injured, and how George originally described it. In the early rough story boards in The Making Of ROTS book it shows Anikan losing his balance and falling into the lava. Obi-wan originally didn't cut his legs or his arms off, they were burnt off by the lava. This would also make the way Anikan ends up in the suit even more graphic, because we don't really get to see what he went through trying to get out of the lava, and what what kind of agony he was in while attempting to do so. When we see how bad he is injured when he is found by the Emperor on the bank it is left up to the audience to imagine what bad things happened to make him look like that. I like this idea and will attempt to do a quick edit of this so everyone can get a general idea of how it would look completed.

Also, about how to fix the jump that will occur in the music if you make the duel end by Anikan going over the lava fall, have everything go silent as the arm structure tips over the edge of the lava fall, and all you hear is Anikan's screams as the arm structure falls down the lava fall and when the arm structure hits the bottom of the lava fall just have the screams fade also. Then you could cut to something else. I will try to do a rough edit of this.

To all the people saying that Lava+Flesh=No more Anikan, let me just say that to explain why Anikan and Obi-wan could be so close to the lava without getting fried and why Anikan latter burns when he is just as close to the lava as he was earlier, George said that Jedi have the ability to use the force that allows them to shield themselves from the heat of the lava, but when Anikan gets his arm and legs cut off he loses control of that power because of his rage, and this causes him to burn because he can't block the lava's heat with force. So if you go by this same logic then when Anikan goes over the water fall he uses this force to shield himself from the lava's heat, but he isn't strong enough to block all the heat so he gets burnt.

A New Direction For The Petition
Time
I don't want to discourage people, but I do not think we are going to see the OOT on any HD format. George wants these versions to be forgotten about. When HD fully takes off the newer generations of Star Wars fans are not going to want to go from watching a 1080p transfer of the films back to a dated 1977 un-animorphic transfer on standard DVD no matter how much better the originals are over the SE's. George has accomplished his goal of killing the OOT with the big help of HD media. He wants to kill off the OOT and HD formats will do that for him so why would he release the OOT on any HD format. I personally don't care that much anymore, because I only watch the OOT once in a while. I watch the SE when I am watching the entire saga. I am also running out of energy to care for these films. The hype is completely gone, and there is no new movies comming out anytime soon. Star Wars at this point is really just becoming a set of movies to me. I have become tolerant of the PT, and just don't really care anymore what George does to these films.

Same here! If I have a daughter she will be named Sophie. I hope that my future wife will not fight me over this, because I have had the idea of naming my future daughter Sophie for a while now. I really, really love that name and would love to have a child named that. It is my favorite name for a girl. I didn't know it meant wisdom that is so cool.
