STAR WARS: EP IV 2004 REVISITED ADYWAN *1080p HD VERSION NOW IN PRODUCTION
Time
adywan, that is beautiful work. Everything is fantastic. The only thing that will take some getting use to is the music inserted into the duel. I just prefer it without music, but I will wait to see it with a completed audio mix before I decide whether I prefer it ithout music or with music. The new computer monitors on the turrets look very good as does the laser blasts, and the lightsaber look outstanding. Also, the completely new exterior shots of the Falcon and the Ties in the Tie Battle look very good. Keep up the hard work.

P.S. Thanks for uploading the clip to yousendit, adywan.

Windows Vista
Time
ADM, I would upgrade to XP. It is stable, has been around for a few years, and everything out pretty much works with it unlike Vista which from what I have read is having compatibility problems with alot of standard programs. I say go with what has been proven to work far more efficiently, and that is XP.

To those who own the OOT Sept Release & an HDTV

It looks to me like your T.V. needs to be caibrated. You can't just buy a T.V., bring it home, and expect it to have a jaw-dropping picture. You have to adjust the image to compensate for the environment it is in in your house. Also, it depends on the size of your T.V. and how close you set to it. Anything above 51 inches, you are suppossed to set 15 feet back or you will see blocks and the image will look blurry. My uncle has a 60 inch Toshiba and it looks like that, because his couch is 8 feet from the screen but once you get in the kitchen which is about 12 feet away from the T.V. the picture starts to look better. My advice is to definitely calibrate it, because I have a Sony Bravia 32" and the picture doesn't have any of the problems yours has.

Lets face it. The SE will be the only version shown to the public from now on, even if we do get the OOT saved

This is true guys, we have to face it, the OOT will only ever appear on a DVD or HD-DVD edition to please this fanbase and thats it. When it is shown to the public via the theaters, private screening, or cable, it will be the SE. I don't like it, and a matter of fact I truly hate that this has happened to the OT, but as Luke said to Kenobi in SW, "There is nothing I can do about it."

But remember Luke did do something about it, the force made sure of that. There may yet be hope.

P.S. Sorry to go off-topic, but I am a Jedi Knight now!

Anyone else totally disregard Leia being Luke's sister?

Hard for the characters, as in Obi-Wan explaining to Luke?

Yeah, it would be a rather involved explanation and that's just for Luke. Some people watching the movie would probably be confused by some of the concepts without Ben relating a lot of the details.

It is still an awsome concept.
