Another film I’ve not heard of! It doesn’t seem to be readily available in a great many places that I have access to and I can’t find any technical specifications anywhere. Can we be sure that the HD broadcast wasn’t just an upscale?

I’ve added it to the list though, Hans. I really hope somebody else can shed a bit more light on this!

I haven’t ever been able to find it. It doesn’t look like it’s available to stream in HD in the UK. I’ve never heard of it being broadcast on anything other than SD channels. Hopefully someone else can check if it’s available somewhere else in this world. I’ve added it to the list!

There’s not an awful lot available from the DCAU in HD. I’ve got Mystery of the Batwoman and Return of the Joker on blu-ray and the first two seasons of Justice League are available too (although they are cropped to 4:3.) Out of everything Mask of the Phantasm ought to be out there in HD as it definitely had a theatrical release.

Pretty decent little piece on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s time slot change next season and the “politics” of the network regarding its Marvel shows. I can totally see this playing out as written!

When Ady finally lets his work out into the wild this thread is going to go from random people asking when it’s going to be released to random people asking where it’s been released. There’ll be requests for invites to Myspleen and complaints about how that paradox place doesn’t work and faneditinfo is empty and torrents give me viruses and I don’t have to own the blu rays first you can’t make me and why make it so hard to get after making us wait so long etc. It’ll become this unreadable mess of frustration and entitlement.

And then Ronster will turn up with a couple more suggestions 😉

I’m not surprised Ady left, he’s been here long enough to know what’s coming!

This poor chap came back from his holidays to find his Star Wars collection had been stolen. I only have a small collection (especially compared to his) and I’d be heartbroken if I lost it. I can only imagine how awful he must be feeling. Let’s hope he finds it and the thief is caught. Everyone keep your eyes peeled if you’re browsing eBay!

I’m so tired of spoilers appearing on the internet. I’ve just had ANOTHER Star Wars surprise spoiled. Do people not have the ability to wait for things anymore? Why must everything be reported and analysed and inserted into my entirely unrelated Google search on penguins.

What’s the world coming to when a bloke can’t read about penguins for fear of it ruining a movie?!

I ordered a cd from eBay, it arrived today.

It was a normal sized cd in a well sealed, padded Jiffy bag envelope.

It had a 10p stamp on it.

I opened it and found the cd and four loose 18p stamps inside.

The envelope had the sender’s name on the back with the words, “£1.30 postage paid” written underneath.

The 10p stamp came away from the envelope as I was opening it and I saw it had brown paper stuck to the back.

The envelope was white so that stamp must have been reused.

There was no indication that the postman had wanted me to pay the extra postage.

The cd was only ordered a few days ago and arrived very quickly, especially for an eBay item.

I’m reasonably sure this is not how the postal system is supposed to work.

I have many questions about this whole affair.

Pretty Little Liars. Lots of beautiful people and an absolutely cracking, twisting and surprising storyline until the third season. I loved it. It’s been shark jumping ever since and has just entered the “evil twin” stage of ridiculousness. I nearly gave up last year but then they announced it was finishing soon so I kept on watching. I hate it, and I regularly laugh at how bad it is. But I never miss an episode! Mental.

Okay, I’ve added The Limey to the list (sounds like a line from an old gangster picture!) as well as a couple of other titles. Just in the hope that somebody somewhere might know something we don’t.

Sleepy Hollow. The DVD was bad enough but all the, many and varied, flaws are even more noticeable in the blu. Add to that the fact that there’s no special features at all (not even the flippin’ commentary!) and you’ve got yourself a truly terrifying home entertainment experience.

Very good to hear, Colson! They are far out of my reach (unless iTunes UK has them) but the fact they exist somewhere means there’ll be a day when an HD version will be sat on the shelf. Thanks for the info!
