False advertising:
The more I look at this photo the scarier it becomes.
“Yes, I destroyed that castle. I do not like castles. I shall destroy all the castles!”
It would’ve been such a perfect storm if he’d also been a ginger, but it’s too good not to use for next month’s avatar. Thanks guys, you’re the best (even Dom).

From your avatar, I can’t imagine you ever being a redhead. 😉
Hmm, that’s got me thinking… are there actually any famous "Mark"s who have red hair?
It would mean losing the dude carrying the ice cream machine though…
You’ve gone TOO FAR this time, Ronster!!
I’m a brunette now (previously a redhead). I like it but it makes my freckles look different!
Scones should have the jam on first, with the cream on top. They’re perfectly tasty the other way, but that’s the proper way to have it.
It might be less about the type of disc and more about the size, maybe? What’s the capacity of your discs?

I do agree with ol’ Lesser Evets opinions in the comments below that article.
Hmm, something familiar about that name…
Did the birds go bonkers? The thing I remember most from the last time I saw an eclipse (other than all the sun stuff) was how they all just started squawking and then went quiet before going back to normal when the light came back.

My friend and I watched a movie sometime around 1992/3 and I remember the cover had a boy on his bike (which we decided was a good enough reason to rent it). The plot was about the kid being transported to a dream-like world that was made up of (it seemed like) bits of other movies. The villain was trying to steal the colour from the world, or something.
I’m reasonably sure the title was the boy’s name followed by adventure, or excellent adventure, or amazing adventure.
This has been niggling at me for a VERY long time. Any ideas?
EDIT: The villain also sang a song about stealing the colour!
Known variously as, “Andy Colby’s Incredibly Awesome Adventure”,“Andy Colby’s Incredible Adventure” or (somewhat unexpectedly) “Andy and the Airwave Rangers”. It was released in 1988, was produced by Roger Corman and stars nobody you’ve ever heard of. Wonderfully, the film’s poster on the Wikipedia page has somebody riding a bike - just like I remembered!
The trailer is a masterpiece of awful.
That’s 25 years of weight off my shoulders but the question now is, dare I watch it again?!
I’ll be happy to repost it in there for you.
Is it saying Do it?
Do you know what? I think it is!
Palpatine clone confirmed!!!
Extremely gentle spoiler alert. I’d have posted this in the Ep VIII thread but I don’t go in there!
I have no doubt these toys will be this year’s Christmas Buzz Lightyears.
I think they used too much tranquilliser in that dart.
That sandwich is dead.
But… but… there’s been no official announcement, right?
Everybody online is talking about this like it’s official but nobody involved has said anything. The Hollywood Reporter’s “sources say” it’s true in their exclusive story and everyone else starts treating it as gospel. One spinoff article’s headline actually began,“It’s official…” but just repeated everything from the original story.
And then others took the brief mention of Yoda and Boba Fett standalones from that article and made new headlines from that. And apparently now we’re getting a Jabba movie too.
The guys and gals on Collider Jedi Council spent the whole of last week’s episode talking like it was an official announcement but nobody involved in making the movies has announced anything at all.
I really do feel like I’ve missed out on something here. The Hollywood Reporter is as capable of misinforming as much as the next news outlet. Is there information out there about this that everybody except me knows?
I really hope they’re right! They’re still journalists though and the article is deliberately vague about where the information comes from. It doesn’t even say if it’s a source from the industry. I’m reluctant to get excited until it’s officially announced.
I couldn’t see anything in that article that suggested this is anything more than a rumour. I’d really enjoy seeing a Kenobi standalone movie and I do hope they make it next but how are these unnamed “sources” any more credible than the Reddit poster who started those “Kenobi Trilogy” rumours?
I enjoyed watching all the Halloween movies over the course of a week so I’ve decided to do another series.
My other half wants to watch the Saws (which I’ve never seen) but I’d quite like to rewatch the Nightmare on Elm Streets or the Police Academys (some I’ve never watched and neither of which I’ve seen this century!)
I can’t decide and I don’t have time to watch them ALL…
Has anybody been able to spot Ady in his cameo yet? Am I right in thinking he’s a soldier on Hoth somewhere? Is he recognisable or is he very tiny?
Yep, he’s number one.
So urine need of a new phone then?
Certain rude dudes making new threads asking questions which are suitable to be asked in pre-existing threads who when politely redirected to those threads instead choose to create yet more new threads asking identical questions whilst apparently still oblivious to the existence of that appropriate and still pre-existing thread are going on my naughty list.
It’s a lump of coal for you next Christmas morning, young man. Ho. Ho. Ho.
I can’t wait to see how they physically release the digital version.
This short video is an upload from a rip of the physical Blu-ray disc of the digital release. It seems to have lost some of the original’s character in the transfer process.
Don’t try to make small talk with them. Instead, have some fun messing with them.
Go and stand nearby and make it look as if you’re observing them, when they look your way pretend to write something down and then go back to observing them again. After a while make a phone call and as you walk past say something like, “Pretty unremarkable bunch of people, they really could all stand to be redistributed…” or something along those lines.
This is a good activity if you’re a sociopath, if you’re not, I dunno, maybe find the ugliest of them and offer to buy them a drink?
Heads up. Polygon.com have just published an article about the release. If the other clickbaiters decide to pick it up then Revisited will get famous very quickly.
Good be good, could be bad!!
