I’m curious to see some screenshots of episode vii looking worse than the prequels.
Many shots and locations look poor/cheap (such as both villages on Jakku, the Resistance Base, the entire ending helicopter shot), but this one is quite terrible:
(and it’s not only one frame, it’s an entire and very long shot which is probably one of the worst ever seen in a SW movie)
But TFA is nevertheless a SW movie and hence has a few good shots (and locations, even if they are basically rehashing things already seen in the other episodes) here and there, but not enough compared to the 7 other movies ('cause R1 at least got it right, sadly even if the story itself is good the characters are boring).
Yep, one frame over an entire movie (and always the same one being used…). Do you know EpIII is not an album but a movie with 24 frames per second ?
(as a matter of fact, even this still is better than most of TFA shots…)

Yep, 100% agree here. I would love this fanedit to use DigMod’s Rise of the Rebellion as a base with further cuts and changes (it overall seems to be the case, so I’m interested, especially in the removal of “oh this chick can fight !” moments and other stormtroopers getting killed with blind shots…).

That’s in fact the all point of Lucas since his very first film: having total control at every single level. I love the way ROTS looks (don’t agree at all it looks fake but this is another debate) but I concur about a few shots that aren’t very good (especially the close-up shots on Tatooine, but I’m 100% OK with the rest of the movie).
This project has my interest. Love the idea. I like EpIII as it is (and I like it even better when fanedited with great talent) but I would surely watch a “Dune” version out of it 😃 Good luck 😉

This is the final battle of the trilogy, the ground battle should be better than the previous ones (Scarif comes to mind).
The battle of Scarif does not belong to the Trilogy (hence it does not belong to this project, unless Rogue One: Revisited is on scope but I don’t think it is).
Season 2 finished. It’s the upside-down of Season 1: a very weak beginning (Chapters 1-2-3) and a very cool ending (Chapters 5-6-8-9). Overall it’s slightly the same quality as Season 1, same weaknesses and same strength. Wish they could make a more consistent Season 3.

Is it the first time we see books in a SW movie ? I really like that. So far TLJ looks like more a fantasy/Miyazaki movie than a space-opera flick, which is highly intriguing and quite promising.

I’ve honestly never understood the complaints about Ryder’s performance. I thought she did a fantastic job in both seasons.
Don’t you think that - to put it nicely - she tends to “over-act” every single second of every single of her scenes ? Let’s say she’s got an unusual way to play… It’s pretty rare that someone is as pleased with her as you are in fact (all lovers of the show I know admit she’s the weak link… it’ the first time I read “she’s fantastic in both seasons”).

Season 1 was mediocre at best. Season 2 is weaker but seems to get better with the approaching final episodes (maybe it has something to do with Staton directing). But it is visually very well done and it can be fun to watch (except when Ryder delivers the worst performance possible in tv history). Overall this is a very pointless series.

I remember Hal had some audio export issues on his PT, with side channels ending up being merged. But he used premiere pro if I remember correctly. Your problem is that when you render a 5.1 audio file it gives you a 5.1 audio file but with 4 empty channels. Could be something missing in your vegas pro lib file or else ?
Ranking TSWHS (and the Ewok movies) higher than any entry of the PT is just trolling, people shouldn’t pay attention to that.
