Well, so, definitely, don’t put your real name in the credits !
It’s too bad I can’t discuss the project in greater detail here, but… rules.
You can. The only thing you can’t do here is sharing it directly on this very forum, but there is nothing wrong about publishing a cutlist of your edits.
No
(on the other hand, Strike back of the Empire doesn’t work quite as good as the original title does…)
I’m pretty sure most of this wishlist is in the anti-cheese edit (and I believe it wouldn’t be too hard to use the Gungan/Neimoidian dubbing on Hal’s edits if you want to make your own alternate track… I, for myself, intend to do something similar with Episode II to change one - or two, still not decided about that - music and two lines).

I can’t keep doing this with these three odd movies anymore.
The world now needs you to do something with the odd Episode VIII 😃
(but not now, obviously 😉 )
Well, in that case it makes sense because the Empire was supposed to be evocative of the Nazis. Seeing black ladies as imperial officers wouldn’t work if you’re trying to make the bad guys Nazis.
Seeing an Asian lady as a mechanic doesn’t mess with my internal logic.
What about the asian guys that were allied with the nazis ?
There’s also the Musical Journey disc that came with the ROTS soundtrack, it’s not really a documentary, but it’s music videos for the whole saga with introductions by Ian McDiarmid.
Oh by tha way, has anyone made a HD version of this ?
Question about a book published in 1995, The Illustrated Star Wars Universe (hardcover edition). Is there some kind of autographed/signed issue by both the authors (McQuary & Kevin Anderson) ? I can’t find anything about that.

And if you want to involve Tony Scott’s friends, here we go:
Episode I : A Knight’s Tale
Episode II : Jango Unchained
Episode III : Death Proof
Rogue One : Inglourious Basterds
Episode IV : Pulp Fiction
Episode V : The Hateful Eight
Episode VI : Payback
Episode VII : The Order
Episode VIII : Smokin’ Aces
Episode IX : The Grey
Well, Vader/Anakin is both a Jedi and a Sith, so he didn’t mind getting his revenge against Palpy.
And I forgot:
Han Solo : Domino
Episode I : Days of Thunder
Episode II : True Romance
Episode III : Man on Fire
Rogue One : Spy Game
Episode IV : Enemy of the State
Episode V : Crimson Tide
Episode VI : Revenge
Episode VII : Déjà vu
Episode VIII : The Last Boy Scout
Episode IX : The Fan
Free trial perhaps ? http://www.divx.com/fr/software/dts
(you’ll get 15 days of free trial, could be enough)
There is no news since the last minutes… is this project still alive ?
Any update ?
Is it done yet ? I’ll need it for my next marathon.
I’d love to see him fight with a purple saber, yelling at Ren “he’s the traitor !”.
Even if I think Lucas was trolling everyone with Jar Jar breaking the fourth wall and later igniting the long awaited clone wars, we can still assume that in the 10 years following TPM he became more competent; it just needs to remove his awkwardness all along in the process (like all fanedit do). But I also wish it was another character to replace him… a young Tarkin who later joins the military during the clone wars for example.
It’s not even as if Phasma was such a developed character she would annoy sexist people anyway… her and Hux are really something in those movies (are they related to vice-Roy Gunray ? I guess so…)
Yeah, I don’t even recognize my space Nazis anymore
Oh sorry, I made a confusion between you and Sir Ridley ! Thanks 😉 !
By the way Bromeo since you’re around, is this for this fanedit you’ve asked for the english subs to translate into swedish (it might have been for Rise of the Rebellion, I really don’t remember) ? (if you happen to have finished those, I would like very much to get them for my archives if you don’t mind 😃)
Like I said :
I converted it as an aiff file with audacity (another lossless format like wav for PCM audio) and mkvtoolnix accepted it (it seems to work).
But I forgot about that part ! (because it really only requires to install audacity - freeware -, to run it, to open the file, and to save it as aiff format)
I can share it but not until tomorrow ('cause via mega it’s going to take time to load it and it’s already getting late where I live).
It could be done as short stories to bridge some of the gap between VI and VII.
