The unfinished “Amendments to the constitution / Palpatine’s Machinations” scene is actually usable now that these guys showed how it could be edited.

Maybe even darkening the shadows would help.

Oh brillant scene it is ! Does it exist in better quality that could match the other deleted sequences (it’s from the bluray set, so might be ?) ? If so I would love to see it integrated in an extended cut 😃

I like that scene as well. The quality is okay. The main thing that keeps me from using it is that the masking of actors in front of the Coruscant skyline is really atrocious. I did include a scene in my Episode II edit with some poor masking but this is even worse imo.

I feel like you could probably find away to cut around the offending aspects. What you’d need though is the scene to be upscaled like the DVD ones.

So Dom actually did it for his cut 😉

Some of these issues might as well be found in your PT final versions I guess ?

Probably but sometimes you cut a line that is not bad nor really problematic and you end up having a noticeable jarring audio cut. An issues often “heard” in many fanedits that tend to cut too much, even the slightest word.

I believe working with Obi-Wan as a R4 unit was a very dangerous mission, and then many “died” on the front. I think Anakin got R2 after his encounter with Ventress on Yavin IV, where his astromechanics unit got destroyed.

But he never owned R2… the poor beheaded R4, on the other hand… 😃

I would even add that the Emperor bossing Vader is quite the point of being the Emperor: the bad guy from the two previous movies (well, 4 movies…) kneels before this old man in front of everyone ! You know you’re going to meet the final boss here.

It’s indeed something we see in the video games. Since Ady is going to shoot new scenes, it would be quite awesome to have imperial guys on the ground stunned by the DS2 destruction.
