5-6-06 UPDATE

Added "Jailbird", "Violets", "Titanic: The White Star Extended Edition" and "Love Actually: Bloated and Flatulent Extended Edition" to the list.

Man I leave for a few weeks for the Bahamas and I get back and the CBB group and ADM have both finished two edits. You guys must work fast!!!! In all seriousness though please drop me a line if you have finished an edit. I will be traveling a lot more soon and won't be able to check this forum everyday like I have been able to in the past. So if you want people to really know about your edit send me a PM or email when you get a chance.

Another week with nothing new to report. A few possible new projects came up but they turned out to be already on the way to DVD.

Sorry guys nothing new for awhile. Grand Prix was taken down because it will be released on DVD in the near future. Look for that sometime soon.

Hopefully we will get a project or two that gets finished around here.

I think you missed earlier in the thread where Zion said that the the stuff at the bottom IS what tells him what is on the discs.

So I guess Zion is getting disc info off the disc itself.

Posted a few new items. I also put an award next to ADM's Hannibal DVD set so everyone knows he was the 2005 Fan Edit winner.

I have one Superman edit on this list. I was sure that there was more of those around this forum. Can anyone point me toward those threads?

In all honesty I had no interest in this project at first. I had never heard of this movie and I had no idea what it was even about. I have to admit that after all the work that you have been putting into this movie, and all the things that happen to fall into your lap regarding the restoration, I am now very much interested.

Perhaps in good time. As of right now I'm just going to stick with preservation and fan edit projects. In the future who knows.

I did a few tweeks to the list and added a "new" icon so people can just check this thread out and see what has been added recently.

On a side note OCP's "The Thief and the Cobbler: Recobbled Director's Cut" has a finished version but as it is not of yet a final version I have left that one off the list. From the sounds of it he has a better workprint to use now and will be changing a few things around still. I'll add that one to the list when I hear that he has a final version of that.

Well the format is pretty much just a temp for now. I wanted to gather the information before I got too far into how it looks. As far as doing Star Wars and yet to be completed projects I think I'll skip those for now. It will be a big enough project to keep this up to date without worrying about all the not yet done stuff. Plus the Star Wars projects are just plane outnumbered by all the other stuff going on in this forum.

As for having it all in the first post.... simple answer.... I can't. No matter how much you write it cuts you off after a bit. Perhaps after the forum upgrade...You would have to inquire with Jay about that one however.

So yeah long story short...I'll keep this thread up-to-date as long as you guys find it helpful. Be sure to drop me a line when anything that should be added to this list.

I would be willing to keep this up to date if people think it is worth keeping. I just did it for the hell of it one day at work because I was killing time. However I can keep it updated if enough interest warrents. I though it would be helpful for the newer visitors to our site.

I left OCP's Thief and the Cobbler off because it is as of now not completed. I wanted to stick with stuff that was done. It could fill up tons of threads with the projects that have started on this forum and never came to light. Not that OCP's won't get done. I know it will but you know what I mean...if I put one on there that hasn't been finished yet then I have to put all of them on that have yet to be finished.

So what do you guys think? Keep this going?

If so I'll drop the star wars stuff and just concentrate on the COMPLETED nonstar wars preservation/fan edit stuff. I have no problems keeping this up to date. Just be sure to drop me a line when ever your edits/preservations are completed and I'll add them. I'll also be checking the site as often as I can to keep up with all the stuff going on. But if something slips past me...please let me know.
