From TheForce.Net: Yakface.com has posted some excellent info from the LFL Episode III merchandising meeting. Here are just a few of the highlights:

# On more than one instance, some of the artwork incorporated the lone word "REVENGE"
# First ep III teaser trailer debuts in Nov 2004
# First full trailer, April 2005
# Ep III Product release first week of April 2005
# Clone Wars series 1 & 2 DVD coming in Q1 of 2005
# Licenses renewed with BK & Pepsi / Frito-Lay

oh ya the Falcon was like the Ferrari of Star Wars...
i was always surprised that the Death Star Playset wasnt that big of a deal...
i have whats left of mine... (to be honest its not in that bad of condition for coming out like 20 years ago and being played with by 4 kids.)

i have one memory which haunts me to this day...
well i was super young at the time so i just have very slight images in my mind...
i was sitting in the stupid shopping bugger metal seat while my mom went shopping... i believe it was either at a store called Wolco or Robinson's... anyway usually if i was good while she was shopping i would have a choice of any toy i wanted (within reason of course) so it turned out i was a good kid that day and we ventured to the toy section...
now this is where i want to cry... they had a discount bin full of Star Wars figures... and each was $1...
and this is in CDN money.... 1 dollar for a Star Wars figure... 1 DOLLAR!!!
and they had a bin at least full of over 100 Star Wars action figures... of course i was dumb and choose Squid Face... yippe!
lol
but that memory right there makes me want to travel back in time with all the money i have now in my bank and just go to town....
ahhhh

i remember when EP 1 toys came out... 9.99 a figure..
spent over $150 in one night...

damn i had a lot to add to this discussion... but there are so many quotes here i lost it all... lol

i can understand the whole discussion about the Rebellion not having any funding and therefore having to make due with what they have...
but since the Empire does have control of most the galaxy.. wouldnt they have a substancial amount of money from their operations... and in that way couldn't they afford more advanced or better looking ships...

im jumping in half way here guys so throw me a bone here..

i agree my posts are down.. thats just because when i was still in college i had to slow down... my teacher wouldnt let me talk on here anymore in class (lol) and plus things just got busy during the last semester... but i knew i couldnt stay away from here for long...

these boards are like the group of friends i wish i could have had the opportunity to grow up with....
for the record i only have 1 friend who enjoys the movies as much as i do...

and you be careful what you say Bossk... i eat bounty hunters for breakfast!

its the simplicity of the story that captivates people...

they dont use works like Chancellor, Senate, Republic, Emergency Powers... what kinda kids are gonna know what these mean???

George Lucas Hints 'Star Wars Episode 3' Title

George Lucas has been speaking out about the rumored title for Star Wars: Episode III. He told USA Today that the title won't officially be announced until November, when the first trailer hits theaters.

Although he confirmed that fans on the Internet had already have guessed the title correctly. Asked whether it was the recently rumored 'Rise of the Empire', "No, that's not it," Lucas said.

When asked if it was 'Revenge of the Sith', Lucas is said to have smiled knowingly, backed away and teased, "That's a possibility. Lots of titles out there ..."

i read it!


i enjoyed it.... how much of it will be true though is tough to tell..

i have a link to a guy who has for every prequel movie now had the entire script to the movie and they have been almost 100% accurate... although this isnt the script it is a brief synopsis of what will/may happen...

he claims to be friends with GL but i dont know how much of that is true... either way give it a go and let me know what you think...
