as for me being rude to jimbo go back and take a look at a lot of the posts... the guy tells me to shut up.. calls people fucking idiots and even shoots down first time posters which doesnt help the community we're trying to build here...
i understand if you want to defend him but get your facts straight first...

when Anakin rides that monster of some kind to impress Padme not only looks to bad digitally but has almost no reason for being in there...

i hated Boss Nass completely...
again targeted towards kids.... from what i saw...

hrm... and i just think they overplayed the whole "force" mentioning between Qui Gon and Obi Wan...
there's a disturbance in the force
i felt it too
don't worry the force will guide us

and Qui Gon using his mind trick in TPM ruins the effect it has on ANH when Obi Wan does it...

the fact that its too complicated for people to understand...
go ask any kid roughly in their early teens what the movie was about and they will not mention anything of the whole political storyline because they didnt get it...

its fine that adults understand it but Lucas says he wants to make these movies for a new generation of Star Wars fans...

and as for acting... if you truly believe those were the only bad performances than you really need to watch the movie again..
no offense to Nat but she was so scripted it wasnt even funny....
her performance was emotionless and drab...

you cant really mention many actors who had bad performances though considering half the damn people were CG

why cant he just give them some sort of sub title???
just as an example to his THX packaging... he has written in small print at the bottom "George Lucas Directors Cut" or something like that...

i find it funny that he had to add his name in that and couldnt just label it directors cut...

ahhhhhhhh the moment i've been waiting for... lol

well 1st scene is prolly gonna be said by everybody but to be completely honest... the very first scene which killed the PT for me was the introduction of Jar Jar..
i thought everything kicked ass up until then....
oh man i was so embarrassed to call myself a STar Wars fan after that shiat!
but i dont consider them the same movies anymore anyway...

but another scene that just made my stomach turn... many will disagree....
the pod race... although it did have its times... the whole two headed announcer was fuckin childish as it can get... rewatch that scene and you'll know what i mean...

ill let someone else vent here... or else ill end up mentioning everyones least fave part...

well when i say the PT sucks im going by 1. the story 2. the acting and 3. the look of the movie...

the story and acting were obviously just horrid... and although i enjoy the overall look of the movie... i still feel they depended on CG way too much...
it doesnt have the feel of the original film... there is nothing that even resembles the OT in the film...

and for the old argument their his films he can do what he wants... thats fine... but it doesnt change the fact that they suck... and will never be better than the OT....

im glad someone brought this up... ive been saying this for months now...

as for not being able to take back DVDs... simple solution... take it up against a brick wall and tell them that the DVD was damaged... if they offer you an exchange tell them that you have already bought it elsewhere due to their unsatisfactory products and i guarentee they will give you your money back...

I do it all Wal Mart all the time...

its so nice to know and comforting in a way that i know there are people out there who "love" the OT as i did and do...
i always felt that i was alone when i was growing up with these movies...
none of my friends enjoyed them and i was always told that they were stupid and boring...
but i never let that get in the way of my love for these films...

i had all the classic toys from my early days of childhood... or whats left of them now

(hehe)
and i continue to have Star Wars crap from all the days i was growing up with these films...
i guess im just rambling now but these movies made my childhood something which i would never want to take away... and i want my children to see the movies which made me the avid collector and film enthusiast i am today...

i guess thats all...
