Linkin Park - “New Divide”
This wasn’t included in any of the albums so I didn’t even know it existed until I found it was the third most popular video by them on YouTube. It’s very much a “What I’ve Done” redux (it was even made for a Transformers movie like that song) but I still dug having another LP tune to listen to.

Anyone else unable to play the Blu on a Sony player? Apparently this has been a problem for Disney titles as of late. I have an S-1200, latest firmware from 2014.
It loads what looks like a menu image, dings, but no menu options come up.

Episode IX releases in theaters December 2019, so a blu-ray release in 2020, ad sometime after that will be an inevitable new boxed set that includes the entire saga (late 2020? early 2021? other?). I wonder if it will be 4K and will it contain the unaltered originals?
Disney will probably be clever and only include the unaltered originals in the 4K full saga box set. The only way to own the unaltered originals is to also buy Attack Of The Clones - that is the heavy price you must pay!
I cant even begin to imagine how bad some of the CG in the prequels will look in 4K a couple of years from now. I know Star Wars and ‘Special Editions’ don’t have a great track record, but if Disney came out and announced they were modernising the Prequels CGI up to present day standards for a Special Edition then I wouldn’t object!
I know I’m in the vast minority for this, but the CGI in the prequels doesn’t bother me at all when I’m watching the films. When I stop to pause and analyse the frames it sticks out, but in the context of the movie I reckon it works.
It (1990)
It was actually better than I expected, the first half especially. Tim Curry I reckon made this movie, and there’s definitely a reason that his portrayal is so iconic. The kids all did a great job as well, it was kinda funny that they were better actors than the adults. The entire ending was ridiculous .

I’m reading the novel at the moment which is pretty good, although I’m not far enough into it judge it fully. I’ll probably watch the new movie soon, seeing as it’s out on Blu-Ray.

Not too long ago, in a theater full of people far, far from fortunate…
I was gonna respond to this, but then it kept going, and…dude this is over 5500 words. It’s just a movie man…you’re not being graded on this, what was the point? How long did this take to write? How much time did you take off your life doing this?
What was the last movie Nic Cage was in that was actually good? Seems he’s been in nothing but schlock since the mid '00s.
Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance is awesome. Came out in 2012.
If the movie’s as poor as I suspect it is, perhaps it’s fitting.

Average/slightly below height, very skinny, I wear glasses and I have long blonde hair. I used to wear exclusively baggy clothes (I was going for a Jay and Silent Bob look) but now I’ve switched to more normal looking mostly black clothes. I might send a picture later if I can be bothered.

I love these both for different reasons. I reckon The Black Parade is their “magnum opus” but Danger Days is too much fun to write off as inferior.
I haven’t listened to this in a while, and it’s definitely held up.
