It was interesting listening to these two albums back to back, though I don’t think it helped Three Cheers, which seems a lot more immature and trying hard to be dark and edgy, whereas Bullets pulls that off effortlessly. It’s like the album equivalent of a fourteen year old girl.
I haven’t read any of the X-Wing books yet, but I’m starting to wonder if Corran Horn’s “flaws” as a Jedi might have been Stackpole reacting to criticism about his abilities in his early SW books. As mentioned, a lot of things do not work out for Horn in the Dark Tide bduology, and even his Force powers were pretty ‘nerfed’ overall (most notably his inability to use telekinesis).
So I just finished reading the book Dark Tide II: Ruin and I’m very confused by the space-station pictured on the cover (both the American and the Japanese version).
What is it? As far as I could tell it never appeared in the story. When I first bought the book I figured it was a reference to TPM which had just been released a year before the book, because it kinda looks like one of the Trade Federation command ships, but none of those were ever mentioned.
It was gonna be in the unreleased middle book of the Dark Tide trilogy that was cut down to two books. I guess they were too lazy to remove it from the cover.
Interesting. Do you have some source for that? Now I’m curious as to what was planned for the middle book.
I’m having a hard time to figure out what they could have squeezed in between the two Dark Tide books.

God I hated Dark Tide. If you want to talk Mary Sues in Star Wars (and I absolutely don’t), Corran Horn is in a league all his own.

Damn, I don’t think I’ve even completed five games. From the top of my head I can think of Lego Lord of the Rings and Lego Marvel Superheroes (do those even count, they’re like babies games in terms of difficulty), *Aliens: Colonial Marines (worst decision of my life) and Knights of the Old Republic (best decision of my life). I reckon that’s it.
From every clip I’ve seen the remake of Ghostbusters just doesn’t look like it is my humor style. Extremely loud and a lot of rambling dialogue. I haven’t seen it, so I can’t judge it on quality, but I’ve seen several parts of it and it just isn’t funny at all to me.
It’s so awful, and so long. Give it a miss.

I really dug all of these albums. They’re great for getting you all pumped up but the subject matter of racial inequality and power corruption adds another level to the music. I can’t choose a favourite, they all flow into eachother excellently.
This album was rad as well, and super nostalgic (my mum used to play this album when I was a small child). Being a greatest hits album, all the songs piqued my interest, especially the ones I’d forgotten about up until this point.
With this album I’ve concluded my listen of all the Linkin Park albums, maybe forever if the band decides to break up. This album made me tear up several times, especially because of the lead singers suicide. It feels almost like this album foreshadows his suicide at times, which I’m sure is a coincidence, but made me sad nonetheless. Tonnes of LP fans love to hate on this album, but I personally enjoyed it.

I reckon this was my least favourite out of all the Linkin Park albums I’ve listened to so far. I was just bored whilst listening, it was really mediocre.
Report him to YouTube and the authorities. Joke or not, doesn’t matter. If it’s a joke he’ll learn real quick that’s not something to fucking joke about.

I was listening to a KMFDM (Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold’s favourite band) song on YouTube when I found this comment. I thought he was joking but when he replied I started to doubt myself. Considering that Nikolas Cruz confessed his plan on YouTube before committing the massacre I feel that I should call attention to this.
What should I do?
I reckon I enjoyed this more than Hybrid Theory or A Thousand Suns, although it sticks out less than those two albums, and consequently, I have little to say about it. It’s good.
I really like suscoff, he’s one of the more entertaining members around here.
