Nope. The characters after the original run looked dumb and the ‘lore expansion’ was convoluted and unnecessarily deep. I mean, you can like all that, opinions are opinions, I just don’t think anything after the originals are worth their plastic. And I’m someone who was in love with all the toys and all three movies back ten years ago.

I’m actually a big fan of the official flash game animations and comics from those first few years.

Always cool to see a differing opinion, even though I of course, completely disagree.

God I fucking hate everything. A goddam bug flew into my fucking eye the one time I try to go outside. Nothing is fucking worth it, everything under the sun sickens me. And I hate it all. Fuck Memorial Day. It’s a piece of shit holiday. I hate it. It can go to hell. Everyone that likes it can go to hell. Everyone that doesn’t like it, but pretends to like it can go to hell. Everyone else can go to hell too. Not that any of this matters though, because tomorrow will surely suck just as hard.

…Holy shit.

Spider-Man 3 (2007) (Editor’s Cut) - Not bad. It’s sloppy and often downright ridiculous, but there’s enough heart in it to win me over.

imo it is sometimes better than homecoming.

No.

I think he was replying to my tweet in which I said it was better than Homecoming… which it is, imo…

I’m a 3 fan, but it’s not even close. There’s literally nothing about it that is better.

Themes, emotion, stuff, idk.

…directing, humour, heart, etc.

Tom Holland is far and away the most perfect Spidey and Peter Parker we’ve had in live acfion

I haven’t seen Homecoming, but Toby was already the most perfect, and the trailers/clips I’ve seen don’t convince me that Holland is actually better.

Toby was an excellent Peter Parker, but a subpar in-suit Spidey. Andrew Garfield was a subpar Peter Parker, but an excellent in-suit Spidey. Tom Holland is excellent at both.

I do not get this at all. Tobey was great in or out of the suit, Andrew was abysmal with or without the suit. Holland is like Tobey.

Broken was what broke NIN for me. I listened to PHM constantly in high school. Broken came out, I listened to it, and it was heaps angrier than PHM…and I hated it.

In time I came to appreciate a few of the songs, but it was still the beginning of the end for NIN for me.

Yeah I definitely see that viewpoint. I just really liked the newfound aggression. Also:

This was really good. Had a great atmosphere. A bit less angry than Broken, it seemed more like a self-pitying type of anger instead.

It was pretty good. Different to what I was expecting.

The fact that you just listened to it for the first time hurts my soul.

I was listening to it over 25 years ago.

In high school.

And if you’ve listened to any other NIN previously, it definitely would not be what you expected. It’s still my favorite NIN album and frankly the only one I ever re-listen to.

I’ve listened to some of The Downward Spiral and With Teeth, but this was the first full NIN album that I’ve listened to.
