• Why is Leia now Superman?
• Why didn’t Luke go personally to confront Darth Vader Junior?
• Why did Luke die? Especially in such a stupid and confusing way?
• Why was Yoda in this movie? Why is he acting as his stupid self from the beginning of Empire, where he PRETENDED he is stupid to test Luke? Why does he have the power to call lighting? Why did he prevent Luke from burning down the thing by burning down the thing himself?

Seriously, the whole movie was a giant WTF. Everything felt so forced and pointless. At least it looked beautiful.

I know this is not the point of this thread, but wow, that is an absurd list of ignorant questions with pretty obvious answers. I understand people not enjoying this film, but I’m hearing a lot from people who think up all sorts of petty bullshit to take it down.

How sad can you be to treat the different types of Star Wars fandom as warring sides, ala real life? I mean, I liked Legends as well (though not as much as I did last year) but come on. This is just pathetic.

I read about that. Can’t say I’ve ever knowingly listened to their music, but it’s a huge shame.

The Halloween II score used to be one I disliked due to it’s synth nature, but it’s really grown on me, it may even outclass the original.

I’d heard the singer from Linkin Park mention how much he enjoyed this band, so I figured I’d give them a try. I really enjoyed this album.

Terrible cover art aside, I enjoyed this album heaps as well, though not as much as Adrenaline. Apparently these are two of their weaker albums, so I’m looking forward to what’s coming.

This was good, but kind of forgettable. I’d have to listen to it again to give any further insight.

Much better follow up. I enjoyed basically every song on this, even the over the top songs about orgies and groupies and stuff.

I heard the song Lateralus and really enjoyed it, so I figured I’d start at the beginning of Tool’s discography. This album was alright, not one I’d come back to in a hurry, but I’m still gonna listen to their other albums because of all the universal acclaim I’ve hard for the next three albums.

Loved it, probably my favourite since The Fragile.

Another good record, not standout or anything, but I did enjoy it a lot.

I reckon the rest of the album pales in comparison to the first track, but it was still good.

Now I’m all caught up on the Nine Inch Nails discography (not counting remix albums) and I’m eagerly awaiting their next album due soon.

My paternal grandfather passed away in 2014 of cancer. I wrote and read out a poem at his funeral and broke down in tears midway. How embarrassing.

The Clone Wars (2008)

My god, this is an awful movie. The humour, animation, story, everything is just bad. I guess I like the portrayals of Anakin and Obi-Wan’s characterisation though. Bad, bad movie.

I skipped past Ghosts but I’ll get back to it at some point. The Slip was pretty enjoyable though.

I just realised that I missed my semester one food studies exam because I thought it was tomorrow, but it was actually on Friday, which I just found out. There’s no way to re-sit it without a medical certificate, and seeing as I’m not sick at the moment, that’s not gonna happen. I’m so god damn dumb sometimes.

Hahaha! I actually got my name from a Lego Star Wars DVD that I used to watch a tonne. It was available, but I screwed up the confirmation email part and had to re-register, adding my birth year.

I don’t remember that in the prequels.

It was the standout scene.

The Fragile was great and With Teeth was pretty good, but I was just really bored by Year Zero. Maybe I’ll grow to like it with repeated listens.
