I never watched it. If Jack Black’s in it, and it ain’t The Cable Guy, I assume it’s bad and avoid it.
Have you seen School of Rock?

I enjoyed listening to this. As with most experimental albums, sometimes it works and sometimes it does not (the numerous interludes being an annoying addition). If you drop the rock influence from their sound Linkin Park end up sounding a lot like Twenty One Pilots, which I found amusing. Overall I liked it, but a bit less than the first three albums.
It’s not high art or anything but I had fun listening to it. Matt Skiba effortlessly fills in the whole left by Tom Delonge, although sometimes I had trouble differentiating his voice from Marks.
I really enjoy them all, but I find the latter two to be easier listens than the first, with Meteora being my favourite of the three. I’m gonna listen to their other albums soon because I’ve yet to delve into their later work.
Warb’s pretty chill, though he does take a lot of things too seriously. Sad to see him go I guess.
Wikipedia says:
The Australian Classification Board was created in 1970 to classify or rate all films (and later in 1994, video games) that came into Australia. In the early years of the system, beginning on November 15, 1971, there were four ratings:
G for General Exhibition, carried over from the previous ratings system
NRC Not Recommended for Children (previously X, A or Not Suitable for Children. This later became PG for Parental Guidance)
M for Mature Audiences (Previously SOA or Suitable Only for Adults. This later became M 15+ from the late 1980s until 2005)
R for Restricted Exhibition (later became R 18+ in the late 1980s)Australia is weird.
That’s not even accurate. They forgot MA 15+.
I bet no one will get mine…
You’re 15!
Ah, close enough. 16.
Happy belated birthday. You were 15 last I checked.
Thank you.

Colin Cantwell’s concept design for the Star Destroyer will be used in Solo (as an Imperial Cruiser) 😃

Oh man that looks terrible. Why would they put that stupid design in the movie?
Because you’re wrong.
No u.

Man she’s young. Makes that magazine that called her “sexy” that much weirder.
Was I high or low?
Also mine would be too easy to “guess” by going through my post history from the last 2-3 weeks.
I’m not going through your posts but I’d guess late 20s to early 30s.
They looked way more emo earlier in their career.
You’re doing it wrong.
The title of this thread says it all lol.
No.
Yes
Yes
How should we be doing this
We shouldn’t.
A guilty pleasure.
What’s guilty about it? It’s great fun.
The lame mid-2000’s “emo” genre it’s oft lumped into.
EDIT: And rightly so for most of the band’s other work, but I do have a soft spot for this album. Also, only tangentially related, it amuses me that the frontman is apparently a DC Comics writer now that his music career is over.
I love all their albums but Danger Days isn’t emo at all.
Do these guys really look emo at all?
God damn it.
^Love it.

Would you rub another man’s rhubarb pie?
That would depend on the flakiness of the crust.
Two questions.
- How did you manage to find that originally?
- Why did you make me remember it?
In 2016 somebody linked it in one of the newer threads. I clicked on it and bumped it, and for some reason I just remembered it while reading Duracell’s post.

We attend a church that preaches anything outside of heterosexual monogamy is “in contempt against the will of God,” and they’re both in agreement.
I’ve never understood that. What does god have against same-sex couples?
Man, I completely forgot about three instruments I used to play. From the age of five to nine I learnt keyboard at school, which is a part of my childhood I look back on in contempt. I really didn’t enjoy keyboard lessons. In year seven I played saxaphone for junior band, and then the next semester we had to swap to a strings instrument, I did violin. At the end of year seven we had to choose which we preferred, and I chose saxaphone, not because I enjoyed it more, but because all my friends chose their brass/woodwind instruments so I would be in their class. I quit music at the end of year eight, and I haven’t picked up a violin or a sax since.
I haven’t made a thread here in what has to have been at least a year! Man, gone are the heydays of me making a new ranking thread every other day!
So anyway, which musical instruments do you play? Are you good at them? Any that you find particularly difficult? Any that you really want to learn?
I for one play acoustic guitar and the ukulele. I really want to start playing the bass guitar but at the moment I can’t afford the one that I want. What about you guys?
Through finding out about the Despecialized Editions during my relapse into Star Wars in 2014. I didn’t make an account here until 2015 because I couldn’t figure out how to find my email authentication.
So good. Very varied sound, and has to be commended for the DIY production of the record. The “Regional at Best” title is a bit ironic now, considering how much Twenty One Pilots have blown up since the album came out.
Never heard of them.
Yeah, but you’re old.
Man I really can’t stand that haircut.
