and also... not to be too ugly but.. I think the Aniron font is alittle out of place.... I suggest Albertus... or if you don't have that, use the lowercase "EPISODE I" font...
it's a mixture of Albertus and Trajan.
otherwise... I like where this idea is going! It looks like one of those expensive hard-cover books of LOTR you can buy!

although I do love reading funny PT-fan change ideas! Please PM for some really ridiculous
lists! I want to read those!
and... the only way I would be ok with those SE changes (and newer editions) is if I had a good quality ANAMORPHIC Star Wars OOT DVD (or HD Blue ray)... then I'd be more than happy to see what kind of useless change they did this time. Come on, guys! It would be fun to see some more changes to a certain extent! As long as you had your good ol' OOT...

anyway... on to Disc 4: The Ring Goes East.
It's all Frodo and Sam from now on... and most of it is also re-graded with more color and stuff... The dead marshes are a bit more brown in hue... I felt that it was severly too desaturated ( I know to show how bleak it is...) but in real life... things don't necessarily go black and white usually.
In this version, Faramir is a nicer guy... even though he's not like in the books where he just lets them go, (yeah I wanted to do that too...) but there's an abbreviated Osgiliath scene. The reason I left all that in was that I couldn't just cut away to him happily taking the hobbits to a better path. It would have been alittle too fast and kinda funny too. Osgiliath is pretty much re-colored.
I also took some grading liberties... As the Ringwraith approaches (osgiliath and The Dead Marshes) things turn darker. Because, honestly, I thought they "humanized" the Nazgul too much. They're scary, yeah, but what about a black mystical aura? That would have made the Wraiths more spiritual and more evil than seen in the films... and it's more accurate to the book, I think.
And yes, there's the whole Crossroads, Minas Morgul, Stairs, and Shelob sequences in this version as well... and if your'e thinking about the taking out of the
Sam and Frodo parting thing... I can't... it wouldn't work well. They didn't film it that way

yeah well the reason I did not include 5.1 is because I just have 2 speakers... and even though I have a 5.1 surround system for DVDs and stuff, I never actually got it to run on true surround somehow...
...and the reason it's not there... is that I have no clue how to render it onto mpg in the first place... and my editor doesn't read the 5.1 track as an actual 5.1 track.
I'm really sorry.. I didn't know it would be such a big deal.
also I should note... check out the audio at the end of Disc 1... you will notice a change of voice for the Ringwraith that speaks to Arwen... yeah, that's a little secret audio voice clip I did of myself... just for the fun of it. And also notice the Ringwraiths chanting "The Ring! The Ring!" as well...

Hello!
I’d like to say that I re-edited my old TTT Book-cut. BEcause the old one was in terrible shape and had ugly sound-sync
problems and… it just wasn’t good enough! So I went and did it ALL over again. It was fun anyways…
This is “Book 3: The Treason of Isengard” here are the re-furbished changes! Enjoy…
The beginning I like the most… it feels like an actual theatrical beginning. It’s the rest of the Amon Hen fight… that’s where Boromir dies and
the hobbits are taken. Aragorn comes to his aid and there’s the death scene dramatic dialogue exchange thing. Then after the rest of the FOTR
aragorn/legolas/gimli stuff… they run off to “The Two Towers”!
Notice that around 80% of the film is re-graded. It’s has alot more color to it… shown in this picture.
Now you can actually see all kinds of stuff that wasn’t that noticeable when it was desaturated.
After the company find out Merry and Pippin escaped to Fangorn, like in the book, we skew back to what happened to the hobbits
all this time. From the time Merry gets his ‘medicine’ to the part where Fangorn marches to Isengard… please note that I cut out alot of Entmoot
jokes and stuff. Trying to make it as short as possible.
We get back to the dwarf, elf, and not-yet-king as they look for the hobbits in fangorn. Then they meet spoiler Gandalf the White! I bet you never saw
that coming! And there we see the whole balrog fight… from the falling in the chasm to the Zirak-Zigil brawl.
Everything goes on without seeing any Frodo or Sam… until we cut from Gandalf Talking to Aragorn in the night (in the EE) to something that’s not really in the book at this point in time, but I needed to put it in for some backstory of the Rohan guys… It’s the scenes where Eomer finds Theodred and he gets banished and Wormtongue talks to Eowyn, ect. All the Rohan stuff… until the fellowship arrive. I took out the burial ceremony of Theodred… I’m sorry…
Everything goes in sequence (without cutting back to Isengard stuff or anything with Frodo). I took out the Warg attack… it’s not in the book.
It would have been cool to see the wargs in Helm’s Deep though! Why didn’t they do that!? So when Aragorn sees the Army… he’s just taking a stroll
around the area at Helm’s Deep and comes back.
Now… the Helm’s Deep stuff… NO ELVES! And the whole sequence is UNCUT! By the way… I couldn’t COMPLETELY elminate the Elves… some still exist in the background.
And yes, Legolas’s skateboard stunt is also taken out.
After the fight… there’s the guys traveling to Isengard to talk to Saruman. I added more color to that too… to make it look more real.
as you can see…
There’s more Rohan ROTK scenes until Gandalf rides with Pippin to Gondor… and we fade out with a voice-over of Gandalf saying “All our hopes now lie with two little hobbits… somewhere in the wilderness.”
and that’s pretty much the bulk of the things I edited on this version…
I’ll be talking about “Book 4: The Ring Goes East” later on.

It has less special features than the US version unfortunatley.
And probably also that worthless (but now rare) Wal-Mart "The Story of Star Wars" DVD you get after buying Episode III...
we're talking rarity right? Because I don't like those two DVDs I mentioned and I find my three LOTR movies (the EEs) alot cooler looking

by the way... the first Disc doesn't contain alot of re-editing... just taht when you see the film...
there is no Gandalf intercutting... until he tells the story later in Rivendell.
And there is no prologue... as useful as it is... it's not really in the book... sort of.
so we see an extended Last Alliance fight when gandalf sees the Isildur Account.
I tend to put a clip of my voice in the film... so look for my voice somewhere at the ending.

the prequels should have matched the originals... not the other way around
heres one very simple thing that George could have done....
In the end of ROTS it would have been simpler to have had Padme suffer from some fictional space-disease
and only live for a few months left. So she disguises herself and lives with the Organa familiy as a house cleaner or something.
And the whole Liea/rememberance thing would have made perfect sense.
But NOOO! They made her die... causing a total confusion and a plot-hole as to why Leia remembers her mom anyway....
stupid... practically stupid... so many things could have made more sense if George WATCHED the O-OT on video BEFORE making

I say CGI battles would be great! Don't you guys see it? It would fit right in with the PT...
More PT-Style angles and stuff...
and I KNOW George wanted the Episode IV Ben-Vader fight that way... but let's just very slightly add a little bit
of faster moves... to make it fit alittle bit into the PT... (I'm NOT talking backflips and energetic
yoda-style moves! But then again Dooku was an old guy and he could fight fast)
but I'd rather have an O-OT un-altered HD Collection...
