I can see quite a bit of Peter Cushing in that Snoke pic…
Hope it’s coincidence.

New theory: As the Death Star blew up, the uncontained hypermatter from the space station’s destabilzing reactors formed a hyperspace wormhole, transporting Tarkin to a planet somewhere in the Unknown Regions in the span of nanoseconds – fast enough to save his life, but not fast enough to keep him from receiving horrible fourth-degree burns to 50% of his body.

I should put that up on YouTube.

Gimme a few minutes and I’ll make a video thumbnail for you.

EDIT: Grafic designe is my passhin

You mean did I jump from the gun shots? Many times. I think there were two that genuinely caught me off guard and made me jump. The others I KNEW they were coming, but they were such loud, sharp cracks that they STILL made me jump. It was such a tense movie.

LMAO

There’s no use in anyone trying to buy a nice sound system rig because the only way to experience this film properly is in IMAX. I might see it again just because of this fact.

How many neck twitches did you do? It got me three times.

I did a lot and I haven’t even seen it yet. Neck twitches and rapid tapping on my collarbone are my go-to nervous tics.

Then seeing his film would be an act of masochism. The last 25 or so minutes are going to destroy you.

Guess I’ll have to go see Valerian instead 😛

(Which I actually do kinda want to see, despite all the bad things I’ve heard about it)

Considering the things I’ve heard I would just watch Dunkirk with a neck brace. You won’t leave unscathed, but you will survive.

I felt the same way when I watched it last year.

I almost didn’t give it a chance. Whatever else I could have done at 2am this morning wouldn’t have been half as satisfying.

Back in my day, a “goat” was someone who screwed up and lost the game for the whole team. So to see the term “GOAT” used the way it is now, especially when referencing an athlete, is extremely weird.

/oldrant

I would have preferred that as my nickname was “Cock” for about a month in 7th grade after causing my team to lose in open gym because I turned the ball over. I fucked up so bad in that game that the Teacher let it slide when it was said in his presence.

Interesting revelations not many people talked about:

Daisy Ridley confirmed The Last Jedi will have at least some ‘Grey’ in the film and a part of it will have to do with DJ

More signs pointing to this being Ezra Bridger.

It could be kind of interesting if DJ was Force Sensitive but only used his abilities sparingly and in the most subtle/creative ways due to him not having formal training.

Everyone on that show minus Bendu or Thrawn needs to stay far away fron the ST.

For all his faults, anakin’s spiritual redemption is one thing George got absolutely right (in spite of pushback it seems) and I would HATE to see that screwed with in the sequels. Anakin’s ghost should not be conflicted because he changed in his heart and turned away from the dark side forever in that moment.

Again, if George chose to not include Anakin in the celebration scene he could have conveyed that exact same message but in a more realistic way. Him not showing up doesn’t mean he hasn’t turned away from the Dark Side; it would mean that his past has changed him in a way that requires more than a spark to bring about great change. I feel you though…

Breaking Bad Season One - 8.5/10

Breaking Bad Season Two - 8.5/10

Breaking Bad Season Three - 8.7/10

Breaking Bad Season Four - 8.8/10

Breaking Bad Season Five - 9.2/10

I’m not sure if it’s the GOAT, but I can’t really think of a story (spread out across multiple entries) that is told as beautifully as this one. There may be stories that interest me more but I cannot think of a story that is as satisfying to watch as Walter White’s.

I really hope that mentality goes out the window if they seek to redeem Ben Solo. Even what he’s done so far leaves little room for some people to accept him turning back to the light. Disney needs to approach the situation knowing that they have to appeal to people’s logic in addition to having Leia forgive him. If the good deed is too personal/small and if the reasons for turning back aren’t sufficient a lot of people will have a problem with it.

Rian Johnson confirms the meaning of the title “The Last Jedi” changes throughout the movie and Daisy Ridley seemed to be under the impression that the title was plural.

but when you slaughter a school full of kids, I don’t think you get to come back from that.

Yeah, I like Ep III (I know, not a very popular opinion around here…) but this scene is among those I truly dislike.

Would you prefer they just alluded to Vader killing kids? I’m neither for nor against them showing Vader killing children but the reality that he has killed children in the past should be acknowledged somewhere…even if it’s in novelizations or comics.

I would loathe a conflicted postmortem Anakin. It would totally betray ROTJ, in a sharp and specific way, as opposed to the general way in which TFA’s plot did.

Vader was nearly fully cemented in the Dark Side for two decades. One good act isn’t going to wash all that darkness away.
