After watching the OT and TFA this I have a few things to day:

• STAR WARS improves slightly with every viewing and the stretch when C3P0 and R2 crash on Tatooine is more enjoyable this time around

• Unfortunately I feel the exact opposite for Return of The Jedi as I’m less satisfied every time I watch it and the Ewok segment was pretty brutal this time around

• After not seeing TFA since May I have the say the movie definitely holds up

The members of this forum seem eager on calling folk Trolls, that was clearly troll behaviour yet you warn me?

All I want to know is where this comes from and who cropped the photo so horribly.

Ignoring them will only work if a vast majority of the reasonable posters did this in unison. If not the trolls are going to have enough to work with.

Mala’s impact on the site is akin to extreme necrosis which is something one shouldn’t ignore. You need to get rid of the taint and if that means changing the Forum Rules so that trolls/spammers can be punished I’m all for it.

I enjoyed leaving that to my imagination… Then someone did the unthinkable and wiped out the childhood memories of millions of 40+ folk.

Vader having a domicile where he was “born” is far cooler than anything I could think of. But your musings could have been different so I would like to read what you had in mind.

A good reason would be that it doesn’t make sense story wise. You never did elaborate on why you thought it was “just wrong” or whatever else you said.

In regards to IX, I hope the path to the light side will dawn on Disney to ensure IX is written and directed properly.

My hopes is that some higher up sees an early cut of VIII and is so impressed he/she gets Rian to write IX as well.

From what I’ve seen recently a lot of people still seem to enjoy TFA to varying degrees. It doesn’t really matter to me because I like it and have consistently refuted many of the criticisms people had with the film. I’m just looking towards the future now.

Why are you worried about IX? Is it because of the death of Carrie Fisher, and how she was supposed to have a bigger role in it?

Yes and because of Colin whoeverthefuck. I wouldn’t have a problem if he was just directing the film instead of writing it.

As one of those people I was ver surprised with the quality of TFA and from the looks of ot VIII could be far better. I’m worried about IX though.

Based on what exactly? Vader having a Castle in the vicinity of where he lost everything makes sense as him being there would exacerbate his rage. How is that a bad thing?

I definitely see them on par and I don’t buy into the idea that Reservoir Dogs is inherently inferior due to it’s unoriginality. Without preconceived notions and just judging the films they are definitely in the same ball park in my opinion.
