Those look the best to me, too. Nice job.

@Moth4: Um, which day is Boxing day again? ;-) We don't have any such thing. We also get our presents on xmas eve after dinner :-P
Boxing day should be the day after Christmas Eve if I remember my English lessons :-)
I thought Christmas comes after Christmas eve. :P
Crawl looks good, interest growing...
Those look really good to my eye, maybe a tad too greenish though. Again, some scenes are better than others but still, nice work.
How's the cartoon on BD? Is it cropped or anything? I know about the added edges but those could be cut off I guess. Just wondering if someone would want to make a hybrid of this hybrid and adding the cartoon from the BD to get best possible quality.
Everything beats Jedi Rocks. I also like the instrumental version of Lapti Nek a lot.

So, uh... myspleen?
LOL, seconded.
Does anyone know what Cushing thought about Star Wars? There isn't much mention of him at all in various making ofs etc. Was he like Guinness that pretty much just came to work and disliked the movie or how did he feel about it?

Wasn't he one of the Norwegian Army chaps?
In which case he might not have originally spoken the line in English.
Actually that's Bob Anderson's cameo.
In my 1995 PAL set, IIRC, SW has the new 3D animated Fox fanfare (which starts from the top of the logo and circles around) which fades out to LFL logo. TESB and ROTJ are original.

Yeah, that was my guess too. But the shots from the Falcon cockpit and the Vader with eyebrows seem to be legit, as does the sunset pic posted by You_Too (although the colours and gamma probably aren't quite accurate there).
They are also from the LFL library, they're from the SE versions which all(?) indicate some changes made to the film like recompositing. Only one that isn't from the library is the first one with Ben, I think.
Thumbs up, he deserved it.

The green tint in FoTR is nowhere near as noticeable as the comparison videos would have you believe.
To me it was. I was annoyed the whole 3+ hours when I watched the movie. It was almost painful to watch, hopefully they remove it if they release the movie on one disc some years later.
The images seem too dark, though.
It seems that they have also darkened the actors.
Wow. That's a big difference.

I'm sorry, but if you sit a kid down with the choice between EP IV and lets say Star Trek (the new one) the visuals are going draw the kid into the film much better than the amazing storyline.
So we need to change everything according to what kids like at a certain time? That is bullshit.
P&S has been dead here for a long time, I don't know any DVDs that were released here in P&S. Also most if not all VHS cassettes were widescreen in the 2000s, last P&S video that I owned was actually TPM.
I think the colors look much better now, great work.
Yeah, it seems that the same settings won't work. TESB is now way too yellow. So they need adjusting. :)
You could use a little brighter image, colors are looking pretty good but otherwise the 2004 versions are too dark so they could use some changes in other settings too. Have you tried with the sequels yet?
Looks better. :)
Looks pretty good. I think some shots are too green/yellow and even though some colors look good on one image, other colors look a little off in the same image. To me, at least.
500 bucks for ten photos? WOW! Are they signed by GL or something?

FINALLY.
The series should end 12 years ago, that's when it stopped being funny
Agreed.

I've always wondered about Ben's line "Who's the more foolish, the fool or the fool who follows him?". How does that fit into the scenario? Is Han the fool who's following a fool (Ben)? If so, why? He doesn't follow him at all.
I love that line.
I've always figured Ben is predicting (correctly) that Han is still going to do what Ben says regardless of calling him an old fool.
It's a good line but to me it doesn't fit into the scenario. Han didn't want to do anything at all, he was glad that Ben said he was taking care of the tractor beam. If Leia wasn't there and Luke didn't convince him to get more money he would probably just sit and wait.
