My Generation Rocks!!
Time
Lethe, what about the food network(iron chef), sci fi (quantum leap), and Tech Tv?

As for Mtv, I find some of there shows mildly entertaining. There so called reality shows makes for a fun psychological test study for me. But that i think is it. When i was a teen i watched MTV and BET religiously, but now i can barely stand to watch them, same with listening to the radio, it is all the same crap over and over again...

Unused force ability?
Time
my memories are much like starboys, i cant remember not knowing what happened in SW. It has always just been there.

As for the force power in question, i have always just assumed that it was just Yoda being in touch with the force, aka having a concious mental awareness of it at all times. Once you are in touch like that i am sure you get many impressions/visions through the force.

Discussion: Look what's on Ebay
Time
<reads ebay ad>
<immidiately digs through desk to build own x wing>
<discovers none of the parts needed>
<closes desk>

The thing is that i wouldnt have been surprised if they went for ten bucks each. And yes having the chutzpa to put it on ebay makes it that much more entertaing.

<wonders what the "Any bids over £10 will also receive a limited edition Elastic Band Death Star free of charge." death star looks like>

I all I can say is the May 19th can't come fast enough. It will probably be like March/ April before the next trailer. But anyway everyone seems to think the Old guy with the lightsaber is Palpatine. In my opinion I don't think it is. Looking at his teeth they pretty bad. Naboo or Coruscant have to have good dentist. These guy in the trailer looks like Papatines redneck cousin that is missing some teeth. I believe that guy could be Jedi Master Syfo Dius (or however you spell it). However, Syfo Dius could have always been in with Sidious or he turned to the darkside like Dooku. It would also be inconsistent with the time line as well. This guy really looks bad. And not much time has passed between ATOC and ROTS. Palpatine would have really had to age quickly. Yes I know the darkside does that too but not that fast. Just remember the redo in Empire with the emperors new face. But time will tell.

<Sama hesitates, then decides to go with it>

What if the good looking one is a clone and the messed up on is the real Palps. Over at tfn many battles have raged over this topic, maybe the cloners are right???

Video of George Bush Misleading America
Time
Fair point, but during clintons two terms, the us military showed simular numbers of disapproval.

As an example of this, watch old videos of Clinton walking by Marines and other armed forces personel, he was rarely saluted. It is only required that members of the armed forces stand at attention when the President Passes by, it is not required for them to salute. They only do so out of choice and out of respect. By and large the US militarypersonal do salute Bush.

And Reg though i see the angle you are coming from, i greatly disagree that our soldiers dont think, you should meet some of them. The thing that they are taught is duty. There are no doubt soldiers in Iraq right now that disagree with the war, but they understand what they chose to sign up for, and are willing to complete there duty as long as they are not ordered to commit hanus crimes. Its about honor and fulfilling what you swore to fulfill. Those same soldiers are not going to be blind sheep and answer on an opinion pole that they aprove of Bush if they dont.

I personally know a number of people that disagreed with the clinton policies in somalia, but still fulfilled there duty...

i agree... being a life long laker fan this is hard to say, but it was hard for me to be upset when the team that i would have wanted to build beat the team i have always loved. The lakers fan in me cried. The basketball fan/player/coach in me rejoiced. Odd to say the least...

Oh i totally agree. I love watching small college games and even highschool... But if the question is NCAA div. 1 vs. NBA. I am going NBA, especially Playoff ball. Watching the best in the world play against the best in the world with passion (in big games and in playoffs.)

D-2 and D-3 schools still focus on academics (God forbid in this day and age) and athletics is second, but the passion is there no doubt.

Hey way to leave out NAIA D1 and D2, i played on a NAIA D1 team and we waxed a number of NCAA D-2 teams...
