I found also the italian, french, german and spanish soundtrack from BD: the italian is with "superstitious", while the DVD has not, so I'll use both; the french is 5.1 while the DVD is only 2.0, but I have the PCM 2.0 so I'll discard the DVD one; german was missing, so I'll use it; spanish on BD is better quality than DVD, so I'll discard the latter. I think I'll convert them to medium-bitrate AC3, to give more space to video and because the original recording is not that high quality - opinions about this?

I read that the new transfer on blu-ray has some cropping and the colors are bad... the old version has jaggies, and there is a asian version but i dont know much about that transfer. I would really like to see the theatrical version done right.

Interesting shots, for me it's hard to say which is best or correct, my only sources for the original color timing are my pal vhs tape and the hdtv rip i got from rutracker. Would the hdtv rip be a better reference than the dvd in this case or not?

I finally burned this to disc, and i must say it is amazing work, i really appreciate the effort put into this by team blu, i was surprised how professional the presentation is overall, it even has a pop up menu for easy access to scenes and the audio options. I give this 10 out of 10 and look forward to your next releases :) I will keep seeding this as long as possible.

Thanks for the guide! I printed the official cover for this already it looks really nice, i used a spare hd-dvd case. btw crom how is it up on your mountain these days? ;)

Thanks for the upload to Myspleen dark_jedi, i will try and seed this as much as possible. Btw does anyone have a recommendation for software to use for burning this? i have imgburn so i will probably try that.

I have just bought myself a 10 pack of 50gb BDR, so i guess it's time to start asking, can anyone out there help me get a copy of this? i don't care about the case or cover etc as i can do those myself, just a copy of the disk, in exchange for some blanks or something to cover the costs of postage etc. If i do recieve a copy i am willing to help others get one also.

Great job on the cover art! it looks really professional, i wish i had donated discs now for this and the Conan project, oh well maybe next time. I have only ever seen this on my uk dvd and i actually preferred the remake over the original, although i liked the ending more in the original, but i'm sure opinions will differ over which is better.

If anyone can send me a copy of the Blu-ray version of this after they recieve it in exchange for some Bd50gb to cover the cost of the disc used and postage, i would be willing to do the same deal for others and burn more copies and send it out.

Otherwise i shall wait for a upload of this great release.

I watched the mobile version and i must say great job Team Blu! the colors really look fantastic, i can't wait to get my hands on the BD when it is released.

I have never actually seen this film so this thread has got me interested to see it, im sure DJ must be a big fan to ask you not to do it, i still need to watch it so i don't have any nostalgia towards the movie yet.

Great work i can definitely see the extra detail coming through especially in the lighter areas in the backround.

About the pink tones i'm not sure how T2 is originally intended to look but i do see there is some pink in the Blu-Ray version, it would be interesting to see some of these 35mm stills of T2.

Btw i read that the original UK Blu-Ray of T2 is the same or has similar quality to the Japanese release but without the vertical stretch, although it is the directors cut not the theatrical cut.

I'm interested to see Terminator 2 from this project, i was really disapointed with the dnr on the blu-ray release, i read that the japanese release does not have this problem. DJ do you have a copy of the japanese release?

I assume that the audio takes up a big % of the size and that is why you chose the dual layer format rather than single layer to maintain full quality. If anyone in the uk gets a hold of this let me know, although i still hope for a torrent :)
